Another reminder how utterly awful we were against these, nothing but a newly promoted side. Still think they'll be in a relegation battle next season, they won't get the same amount of late equalisers and winners as they did before Xmas. Just hope we don't give them any points.

Take out penalties and he's been responsible for more goals conceded due to giving the ball away, than he's scored in the PL this season. Other than the 'big' games he's not been interested. Problem is I felt like Isak was contributing naff all after the final last season and so surely some half decent striker giving a fuck would cover his loss, but we've not managed that. I reckon each of those would sign for the current Newcastle, and they didn't sign to win the champions League. Can understand if most of them saw us as a stepping stone when they signed, rather than thinking they were signing for the next man city. Can see many of them now seeing it's time for the next step too.

Seems to be the players have given up, players who aren't exactly the best in the PL but should be good enough and are paid well enough to finish in the top 7. Do we swap the manager and have an overhaul or give him the chance to do the overhaul. It's a tough question as a bad start to next season and it'll not be a nice place to be. I think he will resign anyway, and the players win. Obviously Eddie is far from blameless too though.

No idea how you can feel for the players, all earning 100k+ a week and pretty much to a man look like they don't want to be there other than the big games against big teams live on TV.

Wondered after the game if there's a chance the club would do as above and get somebody else in now, either to try and salvage the season or more likely have a run up to the summer window.
