A European spot is still a definite possibility.

He was a few weeks ago

What a save Courtois!
-
Hopefully get a point, still need to aim for 7th or 8th spot.

If we'd have had the upgraded front 3 we all hoped for last season, we'd have won comfortably tonight. Barnes Osula Elanga is a big step back on Gordon Isak Murphy, and we all hoped Murphy would be replaced with an upgrade. Fingers crossed it gets sorted in the summer.

Fast, gets the ball in a useful position every time, and is then absolutely clueless every time. Backwards step on Miggy, some how.

Don't think he's into it to the level Eddie expects, and won't be anywhere near the pitch because of it.
-
Mistake in him every single game

Second season syndrome for these next year, be in a relegation fight I'm sure. Teams eventually get found out (us too) and Xhaka's legs will be a year older too.

What hotels Barca staying at? One well out of the way it seems

Playing with 8 men here. Elanga, Osula and Wolt anonymous.

They way they were going on last night you'd think they were top of the table on the way to another title, not drawing 1-1 away to 10 man 14th place Newcastle where they've not won for 3 years. Think those shearer chants got old 15 years ago too. Only hate the mackems more than those glory supporting bastards.

His crossing was atrocious last night, twice they basically didn't even land in the 18yd box.
-
First big example was the Chelsea player merely shielding that ball against Gordon.

Yup, Leeds and Manure, 8.15 kick off with 20 and 18 minutes added on, means it finishing around 22.25 and the last train is 22.40. Not impossible, but tight considering you can't miss it. Also having a shit phone signal means it's tough to see if the train is delayed (as it was Vs Leeds, 90 minutes delay after loads missed the winner).

What's the chance 8th could be a Conference League spot? Is going to take 6 wins from 9 to have any chance of 7th, and I can't see that happening. Those losses to Brentford and Everton are going to hurt us even more.
-
Not sure how much good a point is when you're 8 points off a European spot with only 10 games to go though.
-
I'm certain after every disappointing result that that's it, season done as far as the European race is concerned. But tomorrow is still a must win, we'd be 4pts off 8th place Everton and 5pts off 7th Brentford, both possibly European spots. Man, feels a long time since the Leeds 4-3 put us 6th in the table and only a few points off the Champions League places...

They aren't a great team, sign of this season's premier league when you look at their position. Still, they've turned it around since Carrick came in without looking anything special. We can win, but not if we gift them goals. If they score more than 1 they'll win.

Rather meet Chelsea, more likely to get past them imo
