Segun Oluwaniyi
Gone on Monday perhaps? Four consecutive losses with one goal scored...is "sacked in the morning" form for any PL manager from the title fighters to relegation candidates.
Guest Geordiesned
Liverpool's 4th defeat in a row. Their worst run in 22 years.

midds
Lost 4 straight for the first time in 22 years. Play Man U at the weekend without Gerrard and Torres then the Arsenal away in a weeks time. Lose both of them and we're in business for Benitez getting the bullet imo.

Will be hilarious if it went to 6 defeats, but knowing this lot they will beat Man Utd.
Segun Oluwaniyi
I think they'll beat Man U (who frankly have looked rather average too). Torres and Gerrard will suddenly become fit and will them on to victory. Do you think there is any chance Torres heads to Barcelona rather than Villa if Liverpool continue their descent? Guest Geordiesned
Gerrard was only taken off as a precaution tonight so should play on Sunday. He could well save Benny's bacon.
Robster
So how does Liverpools current state sit with the people who thought that Rafa was the better man than Keegan for sticking around despite not appearing to get everything that he wanted ? madras
So how does Liverpools current state sit with the people who thought that Rafa was the better man than Keegan for sticking around despite not appearing to get everything that he wanted ? what would the world be like if every manager fucked off cos he couldn't get what he wanted......there would only be three managers employed in the world at any one time. We almost have the opposite anyway these days where Chairmen/owners sack managers when they dont get the instant success they crave.
Thespence
Rafa has had millions & wasted a lot of dosh for the level that they want to be at. He has kept Kuyt who he signed as striker but plays him more as a right sided grafter than a striker. He has bought & sold Keane, Bellamy & Crouch. From the way these people are talking, one would get the idea that he has had nothing to spend over the years. He's spent a MASSIVE amount.
Guest
They've just scrolled a list of players he's signed in his time on SSN. A large number of them have signed and either not played yet, or left since then without a first-team appearance.

Both clubs sign heavy amounts of youth players. The problem has been that the signings who have played have been rubbish in many occasions, and on the off chance they were decent, Rafa has made them play in a foreign position. Lagerstedt
Was googleing after Rafa's transfer history and went on wiki and found this: Rafael "Rafa" Benítez Maudes (Born 16 April 1960) is a Fat Spanish Waiter and the current manager of Liverpool Football Club. midds
Wins for Lyon and Fiorentina in the Champions League this week would make it virtually impossible for them to qualify for the knock-out stages. That might just be the final straw.
Robster
Wins for Lyon and Fiorentina in the Champions League this week would make it virtually impossible for them to qualify for the knock-out stages. That might just be the final straw. I'm slightly worried that they may somehow get Guus Hiddink to replace him. (not based on any info I have) Could someone please re-assure me that this couldn't possibly happen
Guest Haris Vuckic
If they don't get to the knock out stages and subsequently fail to qualify for next years Champions League they are absolutely fucked. Can't wait
Ronaldo
I'm amazed that he's substituting player so they're fresh for mid-week, he needs as many results as possible.
midds
I'm amazed that he's substituting player so they're fresh for mid-week, he needs as many results as possible. He knows he needs Torres firing midweek or he's out of a job tbh. Torres running himself into the ground 3 days before Rafa's game of the season isn't going to help anyone. God, I hope Lyon rip them apart.
