bulivye
for me, googling takes all the fun, banter & interaction of the forum out of my inquiry. i enjoy reading what you all have to say...unless it's mean-spirited or abusive. besides... i'm quite lazy! Unlucky Luque
"nuts refers to the testicles of the player through whose legs the ball has been passed and nutmeg is just a development from this".

Cajun
I quite like playing agains't the cocky fuckers who try and do it. Quite often end up giving the ball away trying to be smart when there was something a lot easier on.

Quite often end up giving the ball away trying to be smart when there was something a lot easier on. i'm one of those cocky bastards that do it.. just a bit of showboating. you look like a right prick if you don't get it though, but thats why you have to carefully select the most dimwitted looking guy on the field to do it to. Cajun
Thats why I make sure there is a defender behind me, most of the people who try and do it are more bothered about the ball going through your legs that they are about what they are actually going to do when it does. "Nutmeg!" ah shit just lost the ball, they have run up the field and scored. Oh well.....
CPL
Look a rate prick when people call it and they lose the ball, then everyone goes mental at them.

Nobody
When I used to play, a lad in my team was an absolute specialist at this. In training, he could do it all day long, even though we all knew was going for it. Usually kept the ball as well. Bastard
Mr. Snrub
Do what I did when I played, after you knock it through their legs run past them laughing. Gets them raging.

Bastard Not trying to brag.... oh ok why not,... but i'm kind of known for it myself The stepovers are great for getting defenders to spread those legs for you... wait might want to rephrase that.. AlanSkÃrare
Scored a goal by backheeling and nutmegging the keeper this sunday. Like the goal Kluivert scored against Crystal Palace in 2004/05, only better! Won the game, and the win gave us the title!(Swedish season ends now). Bastard Thats when the "late" tackle comes in, if they can't walk then there isn't much chance of them sticking the ball through your legs

"Nutmeg!" ah s*** just lost the ball, they have run up the field and scored. Oh well..... I agree. You get these people who wear white boots etc yet have very little skill on the ball, I tend to offer them the meg, knowing they won't have the strength or pace to get around me and they've just lost the ball. They might say 'meg' but they've made themselves look stupid and they know it. Just laugh at them, it'll get under their skin. Obviously if someone is running at you at pace, you know they might pull it off in which case you don't leave them that option, but a lot of charvas try to meg people at walking pace and it's pretty embarrassing. Just foul them when they try to go past You have to be clever about it thought, completely smash them but stick your arms up in the air straight away then offer them a hand up whilst saying "sorry mate you were way to quick for me there ha ha". Has got me off a certain booking a couple of times anyway
