I think we must accept that Given is too small and sadly isn't what he was.

he made a couple of good saves today

i thought martins and smith played very well together considering they were against samba whos a big fella

Too small to be a stand in for for the role of King Kong and no longer a schoolboy in Ireland. How wise you are grunty.

I thought we were awful today, got beaten, and there are no positives to be taken out of the match, Kev?

Shame about the result, but if we had gone out with this attitude and positive intent against shit teams like Derby, sunderland, 'boro etc, I think we'd have won a few more points. We were a bit unlucky today.

And that we played pointless long ball football all day, except you thought the two forwards played well as well Kev?

Rubbish, even by your standards.

He gets beaten from distance with monotonous regularity.

No keeper in the world could have saved the free kick today.

If that makes it easier for you to accept then believe it.

Hmmmm ... we do seem to concede these 'amazing no keeper in the world could have stopped that' goals when Shay is in goal.

Elano, Pamarot, Gerrard and now 2 from Bentley.

Harper was in goal vs Pompey wasn't he?

I'd like someone to (seriously) name a keeper who could have saved any of them.

You're right.  You'll be saying next that Harper would have saved them.
