Baggio
We've won 2 games when they've started up front together. A 1-0 win at home to Wigan when Owen scored a header in the last few minutes, Viduka went off at half time in that one. Also the 3-1 home win against West Ham, Owen was shite in that one and got taken off after 51 minutes. I'm starting to have real doubts about Keegan when he's coming out with shite like this. Martins set-up two goals in those games too, the winner for Owen and a cross for N'Zogbia's tap-in.
Wullie
There's a savage irony in the fact we've been waiting for Owen to be fit for the best part of three years and now that he is, that might actually be a major factor in taking us down.
Guest goal!
Don't see what the fuss is about, Owen-Viduka partnership is 1000x better than Owen-Smith, and the team will score more goals, to be fucking frank though I'd rather see Owen-Ameobi than Smith getting ANYWHERE near the team. Martins does deserves a chance to start some games sure, but at least he can impact games coming off the bench too, more so than if Owen was to come on as sub IMO. Owen maybes warrants being dropped on form - but apart from 3 chances v Blackburn (1 miss and 2 impressive Friedal saves) he's hardly had much service Owen will get more goals than any other striker in the bottom 6 (half even?), but/and here's the key, GIVEN CHANCES!. And there-in lies our problem, Martins and Viduka are the 2 most likely to score/create chances from nothing so might feed off scraps better than Owen... and Smith/Butt/Barton/Geremi being first choice in central midfield drastically cuts out the amount of chances the midield will create. Sadly that is true. Owen will not be dropped, it just won't happen. Martins will likely to be warming the bench for the most part of the remainder of the season, coming on with 15 mins to go. All we can do is hope Owen rediscovers his form.
Decky
Sadly Owen will not be dropped as long as Keegan is here tbh, aswell as alot of other players we dont want to see play. Well if this season so far is anything to go by the above will be true.

Decky
Ill probably start turning on KK if Smith still manages to start on Monday even with Duke and Owen up front. Someone who doesnt have the balls to simply drop a SHIT player isnt someone i want managing NUFC. So hoping 'smudger' is on the bench or out of the squad. Exactly, i hate having these doubts over KK its all because of our situation, cant wait till the fucking summer when i can get behind him 110% again and like i have with previous managers. TRon
Keegan's said there will be one or two changes because what we have been doing isn't working. I'm just starting to get a feeling he might drop Smith and Duff in a best case scenario. If not, at least one of them, which means one less passenger. Milner is injured so that might give Keegan an easy option to change things without dropping a player, I'd wait and see who he picks, so far his selections haven't been too imaginative. I am having doubts over him now because of his team selections etc, any other time i wouldnt but my point was that in a relegation battle things like team selection are the difference between 0 points and 3 points. Come the summer i will have faith in KK again because he will be able to build his own team and be judged on that.

Pilko
It is not possible to shoe-horn Smith in any longer, he's had long enough and hasn't delivered. Carroll > Smith

I'd say he needs the fans behind him more now that he's in a relegation scrap and trying to make a winning team out of someone else's players than in the Summer when the pressure's off. Each to their own though.

Robster
Oh and I'm very confident that Smith won't score this season. How embarrasing. I am amazed that a young professional footballer wouldnt go all out to make sure that statistic doesnt become a reality. With 9/10/11 games to go I would have expected him to be covering every single blade of grass and almost literally sweat blood. Looks like professional pride isnt part of Alan's make up. How very sad in terms of the modern game
