Teasy
I'm sure a lot of people on here could do better then the fat man at the moment when it comes to simply picking a team/formation. Just a pitty none of us would have any idea how to do the rest of the job
Parky
It would be almost impossible for Shearer to be doing a worse job than the current manager is. And this would be based on what exactly? How could he do worse? Play Shay Given up front?, because that might just be Allardyces next brain wave Seriously to do better then Allardyce all that is required is to not think your a tactical genius and instead just use a basic formation with everyone in there best position and say "go and play". He should have picked up a thing or two about long range shooting. Aye but he would get fined for trying.

I'd say winning trophies was a better reflection on how good a manager is, not what hidden gems he bought. Just to be clear, I was being sardonic when suggesting these two players. And yes, trophies are an indicator of how good a manager is, but it's not done us much good over the past few years.

So you think playing and having a big reputation in the game across Euro won't help him as a manager? It's about opinions and that is mine. Kilinsmann would be a better bet than Alan Shearer. Outside of England no one gives a fuck about Shearer.
