1st thread on here \o/

So another manager gone. Pearson, Round, McDermott, Lamb & Gennoe all survived when Sam took over, although the latter retired a few months ago with a back injury and replaced with Barron. Sam didnt really bring in anyone who actually coached, they all seemed to be technical analysts, massuers or sports scientists. Pearson & Round joined under Roeder, McDermott has came and went more times than a russian porn star & he is only ever needed to organise the christmas party, Gennoe was another of Roeders men & Lamb was promoted from fitness coach of the academy. The only person who we really know of that came with Allardyce is Mark Taylor (Physio) & Craig Russell (ex falcons coach so might of been coincidence?)

Is it time to make a fresh start & axe the coaching staff, and let the new manager bring in his own men? Obviously the manager party takes the blame but when players dont seem to be making any improvement on the pitch you do wonder what the coaches actually do during training sessions.

So who would you keep and who would you let go?

That's a point, Allardyce not only brought in lots of players, but wasn't there massive recruitment behind the scenes? Sports psychologists, scientists, medics, etc? If the new manager doesn't fancy that approach then that's a pretty big clear out.

The whole team has and was being built up from every angle. Mort and Ashley let it all happen. Now after the first real bad run of results they hit the panic button? Just don't understand it. Strange night!

God, I love Newcastle United. This club's insane. :smitten:

I know what you mean. If you're going to go mid table you might as well go all out.

Surely just for shits and giggles they'll appoint that that insanely ugly man who took over from Sam for a while before getting the boot, whos name escapes me. Get him in. What better for the sheer theatre that is NUFC than a long flirt with relegation? A jaunt down to League One and back. The sheer bathos. It has newcastle all over it. You heard it here first. Nailed on.
