TBH Some can argue he's never managed a huge club, but same can be said of a certain Mr Allardyce and look what's happened.

That potentially it is a move that will not bring the club forward, since we appoint a manager previously managing at the same level, as Allardyce. This is my opinion on the potential Redknapp appointment, this might change with a massive warchest, maybe?

I'm sure Redknapp has had more to spend during his time at Portsmouth than Allardyce had at Bolton, but I cba looking up any numbers on it.

 

Point being, it's a comparison that makes me think he won't succeed, if he is to be appointed. Redknapp is no more guarantee for good big name/big cash-signings than Allardyce was, is he?
