Shearergol
Maybe a different question would be "would you care that Ronaldo is a cheat if he played for Newcastle?" I imagine a lot of you (the same lot who don't want Mourinho here ) would say yes.
Guest Phil K
All the cheating tw*t showed that if he's up against tenth rate crap, he'll shine, and look unbeatable. Which is what happened yesterday. And as for the question above - you'd better believe it, mate ! (And how do you work it that we DON'T want jose if so ? Baffling, that) Of course, if the refs had any backbone (unlike the turd yesterday) he'd quickly get out of the diving if he was getting booked for it regularly. But the opposite is happening, because he's playing for that lot at OT - and even on away grounds, hence he's doing it all the time.
Coxaux
Still not convinced the lad is world class... Still goes missing in big games, persistently dives which provide him with the set-pieces to do such damage from and today only his second goal stood out as having any particular quality. The lad is very talented but still has a long way to go before he can stand tall with the likes of Kaka...

WhatTheFunk
Sorry...but imo he pisses all over Kaka and Messi. Best player in the world. One word to describe him last night, and that is....sublime

Coxaux
When was the last time he went missing in a big game by the way? To be honest the only impact I can remember him having on a major game (including matches against the top four/ champions league knockouts) was scoring a two yard tap in against Arsenal last year... He's scored quite a few against Arsenal. Fucking hell man, what's it like on here? People are trying to make out Ronaldo isn't a world class player? The game in which Ronaldo went in with an injury? Should we agree that he's at least in the top 3 players in the world then?

Guest Deep456
f*** off, honestly. I couldn't give a f****** s*** - i have little respect for the man and he scored a hattrick and pissed on us today. If you want to embrace that, you go girl, otherwise, naff off. Honest to God. Kenny Miller's notched a couple against us this season n'all. What a top centre-forward he is. Let's all make a song about him. Infact no not a song, that's not enough, let's write a play. All about Kenny Miller. That'd be mint, wouldn't it? *breathe* This is gold.

Guest Sporting
When was the last time he went missing in a big game by the way? To be honest the only impact I can remember him having on a major game (including matches against the top four/ champions league knockouts) was scoring a two yard tap in against Arsenal last year... Also created the other Man U goal in that game. Last season he created Man Us winner at Anfield. Created the goal the only time Man U beat Mourinho's Chelsea. Scored twice at Highbury in a 4-2 win. Got MOTM in the FA Cup Final lost against Arsenal. MOTM the game in which Man U broke Arsenals long run Got MOTM in his first game against Liverpool since going to England from Sporting. The Roma games. The problem is if he plays very well but doesnt create or score goals (such as games against the English) people remember it as him playing badly, and if he does score and assist such as at Emirates this season people say he had a poor game apart from that. Incidently, regarding Kaka, of the 10 goals that he scored last season in the Champions League, there were 4 penalties, there was a deflected goal off the defender Zetka when Milan beat Anderlecht 1-0 away (a Lampard goal if you like) and a hattrick against them at home. He was anonymous against Bayern and equally anonymous against Liverpool while the Argentina Mascherano was on the pitch. His only worthwhile contributions were against Celtic and a Man U defence missing their back four. I'd suggest Ronaldo could've made similar contributions agaisnt Milan had their defence been without Oddo, Nesta, Maldini et al. Of the 8 league goals that Kaka scored, 4 were from the penalty spot again and 3 more were against relegated sides Ascoli and Messina. Milan managed just 7 wins in their 19 away games. 18 goals - 8 penalties, 8 goals against Anderlecht / Ascoli/ Messina/ Celtic. Food for thought maybe? Kaka is overrated, and only looks good because of the likes of Pirlo, Seedorf and Gattusso. One gets it, finds one of the other two, who in turn gives it him on a fucking plate. Repeat. BONTEMPI
He's no world beater! Maybe looks so against teams like us but f****** hell the amount of you that suck his cock turns my stomach! He can not be considered in the same breath as Kaka, Messi, Pele, Marradona this list can go on! Until he wins something of note World cup, Champions League he's just a talented player in my eyes but not to be considered anywhere near the guys i've mentioned
Guest Knightrider
Goes missing in big games /2J Agreed btw, class. He does though, that's truth. Not denying he's a class act though, 3rd best player in the world in my eyes, still behind Messi and Kaka. I still don't know how you rate him as the best you've seen in your time watching football though. I'm talking about up close and live on a weekly basis here 2J. Zidane is probably the best player of his generation if we're talking about overall. Messi is a great player too but I think Ronaldo has a few edges over him. Kaka is a spectacularly accomplished footballer, a better player than the two, but Ronaldo is excitement personified for me and just such an amazing player. The improvements he's made in the past two years is staggering. If I'm being honest though I don't think there is such a thing as the world's best player because it's all about opinions and while I rate Ronaldo as the best myself, the differences between the very very top players are marginal. They are all the world's best players, do we need a definitive winner? Nah.
