No one deserves our support more than the bloke who brought you these...

Can't believe some of the people on here like. They need to have a quiet word with themselves. Writing KK off already. Worse than mackems.

If you're happy with a bloke who's picked up 1 point at home against average opposition, and a man who STILL picks Smith, then fine.

Seriously become disillusioned with the sentimental b*llocks on this forum.

If you can find the bit where I've said I'm happy with things let me know.

I was amazed at the standard of football we played a times yesterday, but will readily admit that it's the first real sign of positive change I've seen since Keegan arrived. Not sure anyone else would have done any better so far, especially without making any signings.

What a peabrained pillock.

That was then - what you don't seem to get through your empty cranium  - THIS IS NOW

I thought it was a massive mistake to bring KK back after his failures AFTER the dates you mention.

I dearly hoped I would be proved wrong.

All I was wrong with was I UNDERSTATED the degree of mistake

I don't want Kevin toe-ended. These are Shepherd and Allardyces mistakes.

But half-witted rants about the nearly-was days....won a lot of trophies didn't we ? Why not mention the collossal stupidity of getting rid of the reserve team ? ? ? ? ?

Kenny Dalglish put that right again - he never got the credit for that, and KK never got the critiscism he deserved either.

If you can find the bit where I've said I'm happy with things let me know.

Theres the "reluctance to face unpleasant truths" part though Alex - and theres plenty on here (thread starter for one) far, FAR worse than you, mate.

It seems some people are missing the whole point of this post. It was never started to reminisce on the past or to say people can't criticise the manager and his decisions, it was started to remind people of what this man has done for our club and that if anyone deserves our support and patience, it's this man (based on what he's done here before). It was also aimed at those less respectful in the vitriol of their criticism and opinions, i.e. that shameful thread asking for KK to resign and other "just fuck off" type comments.

Jesus Christ! stop day dreaming and living in the past those days are over and behind us and they aren't going to come back so I would rather look to the future and it's not with Keegan as I see it.

I'm not living in the past or daydreaming, on the contrary, I'm living in reality and the reality is this: KK isn't responsible for the mess we find ourselves in nor should he been made a scapegoat or judged, wanted out or other such bull shit after just 7 games in charge. You look to the future though... Me I'll stick with the present situation.

Imagine if Everton fans had had the same mentality as you HTT when Howard Kendall returned second-time...they'd have went down had they kept him.

Just because he did well first time (Taylor at Villa is another prime example), shouldn't mean we should just sit back and expect things to pick up, whether it's now or the summer.

So what's the answer then, sack him? Howay, you must have an answer. If not shut the fuck up and stop your bitching which is pointless. He's our manager, he's only been here a shit and a shave, he's inherited one of the worst group of players we've had the misfortune of seeing represent our great club and needs far more than 7 games to turn this shit around. Now is not the time to start squealing like a bitch. Get behind the manager, a man who built this club up only for tossers to destroy it. Now he has to start all over again and fix their mess with again, one of the worst squads to represent us in our Premier League history. Whether he turns us around in the summer or whatever doesn't matter for now. It's all about staying up and getting behind people, most of all KK.

Kevin Keegan owes this club nothing, no matter what happens this season.

It's the other way around, we owe him everything. Without KK there would have been none of this:

Eh. Of course I agree with him, but it works both ways, he owes us nothing but we owe him everything. I was merely extending the original point.

You're a complete tool, "Coach". I'm not saying sack him, we shouldn't have appointed him. But I though this was about "opinions". My opinion is he's finished as a manager and has been for the last 4-5 years, and I don't need pricks like you telling me that I have to get behind him and should give him slack just because I don't agree with you. You're in support of Keegan, great. I'm not, but I don't need twatty arseholic comments from you telling me how I should think.

He's not sme knd of managerial genius, thats a fact.

Do you not read these threads? HTT, to his credit, has said a number of times that he realises KK isn't immune to criticism.

With that said, I think he's getting a little over-defensive.

It's not upto me. It's no good changing now, too late this season. I say the board admit they got it wrong in the summer, and appoint a manager who can then spend the summer doing it his way.

I'm confident that Keegan can take this club forwards if he's given the backing, I think this club brings something out of Keegan that others can't.  Obviously I could be proven wrong and will admit it if I am but I would have as much faith in Keegan getting it right here as I have in most others, especially others who would probably come here.

Keegan will get the best out of those he brings in, all we need is for him to identify our problems and bring in the right players, something his record while here suggests that he will do, he's already getting better performances from the players he inherited.

I agree with HTT. I think Keegan is a top class manager and he will turn it round given the time and resources to do so. To start judging him after 7 games is in my opinion pathetic.
