Likely Stoke away

Rather dull I thought.

The badge, sponsor etc look clearly photoshopped to me.

i buy all my shirts from sportsdirect.com of course

when I was in London, I was in the Bluewater shopping centre, and went into Sports Direct as I was after a new pair of football socks.  I took great pleasure in watching crowds of Spuds buying their tops in their, knowing they were putting money in Mike's pockets.  It was some consolation for Woodgate/Modric!

Chelsea shirts also flying out too.  Considering its a fucking awful top, and again, there was money going to Ashley, it too made me happy!

Maybe it's just a cheap transfer then cause it looks crap  :)

Aye, the new board are clearly lacking in ambition, at least the "FS" and co. were willing to back their managers.

Wahey!

I seem to recall reading that as well -- that Mr. Ashley has a good amount of stock in Umbro, hence he took a double-hit on the lack of England merchandising this summer.  On the plus side, he gets extra out of all the clubs that have Umbro kits in the league/leagues.

I think this fact was also once used as an interesting argument about why Ashley would keep Michael Owen -- who is also sponsored by Umbro, to the tune of 1 mil a year according to that article.  I'm not sure I ever understood how that translated to the Newcastle transfer market but...eh.  I rarely understand the press.  I do enjoy the irony though:  Sunderland really have a problem -- they are supporting both Ashley and indirectly Owen with every kit they buy!
