afar
Why's everyone being so harsh about Nasri, bit weird and unnecessary.. I'm wondering the same myself. I'm no fan of Barton in the slightest but Nasri was a complete and utter twat in our game at their place last season. I have no sympathy for him. Just because Barton's a twat too doesn't mean Nasri is a bloody saint.

Guest Stephen927
Nasri was quality in spells last season. They get Rosicky back and lose a similar player to injury.
Guest
Sunderland apparently now not fussed on Crouch. "I know he was impressed with the set-up here when he came for talks but it's simply a matter of geographical location and that's not something we can affect. Sums it up Geographical reasons my arse. If Liverpool came in for him again would he say, "Nah sorry, I only want to play in London"?

Ketsbaia
If Pompey's takeover drags on much longer, they're as nailed on to go down as Hull are. Rubbish manager, players are leaving (Johnson, Crouch, Campbell, Distin etc) and they hardly set the world alight last season.

Guest Stephen927
I love how it's been painted on SSN that Sunderland have ended their interest in Crouch. Clearly the player does not like the look of what he saw.

Guest
Nottingham Forest seem to be spending a fair bit of cash. Seen them spend the odd £1m here and there pretty consistently on SSN news ticker thing this month. EDIT: David McGoldrick (Southampton - £1m) Paul Anderson (Liverpool - £250k) Lee Camp (QPR - £100k) Chris Gunter (Spurs - £1.75m) Paul McKenna (Preston - £750k) Joel Lynch (Brighton - £200k) Could be one of the dark horses next season. joeyt
Just heard that James McCarthy from Hamilton Accies has joined Wigan. Quite disappointed, was hoping we would get him, but was always unlikely when we were relegated

Not sure how good those players are though David McGoldrick (Southampton - £1m) - Didn't do much @ S'ton last season. Paul Anderson (Liverpool - £250k) - Seen him at Swansea, decent, but all pace Lee Camp (QPR - £100k) - Average Keeper Chris Gunter (Spurs - £1.75m) - Good prospect, but seriously lacks pace Paul McKenna (Preston - £750k) - Not good enough for Preston Joel Lynch (Brighton - £200k) - Don't know him

Not a speed merchant admittedly, but not exactly a slouch either, far quicker than Hudd for example though that isn't necessarily a good example! Agree with him being a good prospect though, most fans would have been happy for him to go out on loan rather than being sold, some of the coaches thought the same, but Redknapp was adamant. Shame.
