Guest Roland
Contract clausule was 14 million Euro, so good negiotiating by Spurs. Has been a brilliant keeper for PSV for 4 years, hope that he does well. Isaksson (Man City) is the main candidate for PSV to be their new keeper. Syrette
Didn't mean "missed out on him" because we were never in for him, my bad. Still gutted he's joined Spurs because I hate Spurs.

Martin Lol
Apparantly the Gomes deal is completed. We paid 9 million Euros for him... It's Voetbal International that are saying it's been completed, I would guess subject to a medical. I'm more encouraged by an assortment of ITK's who are agreed that Gomes will be completed tomorrow or Saturday and, to quote one, "Robbo moving ever closer to Villa, could be done soon." Guest kingdawson
It's official... http://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/news/articles/gomesdealagreed260608.html We are delighted to announce that we have reached agreement with PSV Eindhoven for the transfer of Heurelho Gomes to the Club, subject to the player agreeing personal terms, passing a medical examination and obtaining his work permit. Goalkeeper Gomes, 27, a Brazilian international, was an ever-present member of PSV's title-winning squad last season, when he conceded only 24 goals in 34 league games. He made his name at Cruzeiro in Brazil, debuting in 2002 before securing his move to Europe and PSV in 2004. Since then, he has won four Dutch titles in succession with PSV, reaching the semi-finals of the Champions League in 2004-05. Gomes will be no stranger to Spurs fans - he was outstanding in our UEFA Cup Round of 16 matches against PSV last season.

Guest kingdawson
Spurs seem to have taken up our old strategy of "let's sign any player what once had a good game against us". He was dodgy against us though. A psv fan on the spurs forum described it as his worst performance of the season.
Syrette
Spurs have a very decent side now, I'm sick to death of being jealous of their transfer dealings. Fucking despise them.
Yorkie
Spurs have a very decent side now, I'm sick to death of being jealous of their transfer dealings. Fucking despise them. That said, if they don't get it right this season, then the men at the top want hanging up by their balls. They must have spent well over 50million quid now in the last 12 months, starting with Jol's signings last summer. Then January signings, then getting Ramos there, and now big money signings this summer. Their spending is through the roof and like i say, if they don't get it right now then Levy et al want shooting. But they probably will.
Guest kingdawson
Levy's done a great job. All he can do is provide the manager with the funds, which he does without fail.

Guessing we'd be pretty happy if it was Mikey who made it rain on us.. Tired of reading posts of jealousy, whining about the Spurs' massive spending, naming them the new Leeds etc. when what we all really want is to be in the same situation.
