Dave
Has anyone ever seen such an instance of a referee completely lacking in, well, balls? I'm referring to the free-kick we had, in case anyone didn't guess. Absolutely farcical. No wonder the players say what they like to officials - they're fucking allowed to amend the rules whenever they want!
Liam Liam Liam O
He measured out where he thought they should be & Taylor stood where he stopped, then Chelsea lined up a yard in front of him. Spineless.
Mick
1-0 to the referee.
Dave
He measured out where he thought they should be & Taylor stood where he stopped, then Chelsea lined up a yard in front of him. Spineless. The second time was the best. Crowd: '1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 (Bennett stops), eh?'
leazes.ender
Eye. Every time this bell-end refs us for a start. Whenever its a big game involving a London team they wheel this prick out. Drogba got away with the kind of tackle that Sky would have been moaning about for weeks if it was a lesser light and then we do 2 'fouls' and its 2 bookings. Seen the free-kick again and its a big mincey dive. Krusty the Carvalho clown went over the top twice and gave nowt away and managed to injure himself the 2nd time. And he let Malouda and Ballack foul there way through the midfield. Lest we forget this is the idiot who sent off Ribbie Elliott down there and couple of years ago, generally gives the Arse everything when we play them and lives just off the end of the tube line in Orpington. leazes.ender
Counting to 9 is fine if you've got big strides. Letting them stand where your 7th step was is the worst bit.
Dave
Counting to 9 is fine if you've got big strides. Letting them stand where your 7th step was is the worst bit. Aye. The way he just asked them over and over again, then eventually just let them stay there was utterly pathetic. You're the fucking referee! Book them! stozo
One of the best examples of soft refereeing was a farcical situation in the Hull/Ipswich match yesterday when Windass kept moving the ball forward and the wall kept moving forward until they were about 5 yards away, referee kept moving the ball and wall back but both kept coming forward. Adam
Absolute pleb, sick of shit officials who always give stuff to the "big four" proper pussy.
Mr. Snrub
Why wasn't that cock Mikel booked early on for kicking the ball away..

ElDiablo
Surely the incident when Malouda advanced too early should have resulted in a free kick where it hit him instead of just a re take?
leazes.ender
He couldn't book Terry tbf, because he'd booked him once already. It'll be rescinded as you're not allowed to book any England players.
Thespence
Refs do a tuff job & unsportsman like teams Chelsea do make it hard but a flash of few yellow cards & the showing of a red & WALLLLLA the cunts are banged into line.

What's strange is that Bennett sent Mascherano off earlier on in the season for whinging like a twat. It's almost like he got so much grief for that, he didn't dare do it again. leazes.ender
Or just that Man Utd count as one of the London teams as his next door neighboura are "Kent Reds". Did he send off Shrek in the same game when he gave him some of his usual 'well humoured' scouse bile.
Thespence
Refs do a tuff job & unsportsman like teams Chelsea do make it hard but a flash of few yellow cards & the showing of a red & WALLLLLA the c***s are banged into line. What's strange is that Bennett sent Mascherano off earlier on in the season for whinging like a t***. It's almost like he got so much grief for that, he didn't dare do it again. If he had of sent Chelsea players off for being whingers against us I would of fancied our 11 to beat there 6.
Dave
It actually crossed my mind during the match that he may have been asked to 'help' make sure the title race goes to the final weekend. Of course that would be corruption, and cannot possibly be the case. ...

Yeah, that's the answer. The shit that players try and get away with is a fucking disgrace, but the refs have largely themselves to blame as they're totally spineless. If they get shit from the media and certain people with vested interests (namely managers) for making what was a correct decision, then instead of standing up for themselves and saying "Fuck you, I got that right, you can shove your opinion up your arse!!" they say nothing and make a mental note to get it wrong in future. The exact same thing happened with the whole marching people back for dissent etc stuff that was brought in, none of them had the balls to use it!! My pity for refs died with their abject failure to use those rules to stand up for themselves, they had their chance and they blew it.
ShearMagic
Surely the incident when Malouda advanced too early should have resulted in a free kick where it hit him instead of just a re take? Nope. Caution and re-take is correct.
