Stephane Sessegnon

It's just broken on skysports that his representatives from France -  The Sausage Sisters have been at the training ground. It's being rumoured that spurs are also interested though.

So basically, Spurs have no scouts and they just wait for us to make a move?

Yeah well it all depends on the Sausage Sisters really.

Impressive (talking strictly from an economical standpoint)

So it looks like we've been watching him again.

We seem to be doing a lot of scouting, which in my opinion is good news - especially so soon after the end of the season. Euro 2008 is only going to make things difficult for clubs wanting to bring in players.

Sure someone will find fault with it, like.

Didn't Oliver say that Wise and Hughton watched Le Mans on Saturday, but the player they came to see didn't impress so they are going to have to look again?

Maybe in the World cup qualifiers?

Sessegnon scored though in that match - surely that warrants some praise?

Top Toon duo on French talent watch

May 19 2008 by Alan Oliver, Evening Chronicle

NEWCASTLE United took a spot of French leave over the weekend as they continue to scour Europe in their bid to bring the best young talent to St James’s Park.

Director of Football Dennis Wise and assistant manager Chris Hughton were in France taking in Metz’s game with Le Mans.

There were several top young stars on view, but I am told the player United were watching did not have a particularly good game and that they will have to go back for another look.

Was given as an own goal according to the BBC website.

Yohann Pele is a Goalkeeper if i remember correctly!! Dunno why we'd be looking at him if we've got 4-5 reasonably good ones!

Angola would be the only game against half decent players.

Though are Wise/Keegan/Vetere/Hughton properly vaccinnated for a trip to Africa?

Allows them more money for tranfer/wages.
