Parky
Bearing in mind he's costing us around £3m a year in wages and has a contract till 2011. I'd take 1-2m personally.
Guest Stephen927
Anything above a million. Can't see us getting back what we paid for him.
Dave
We'd still get £3m for him IMO. Unlike Smith, I think people in general seem to believe he's still a good player.
steve_69
There's no way the club will accept less than £4m for him. It's pretty obvious the new regime want to recoup as much money as possible and are prepared to play hardball.
Disco
£2m+ (cash upfront)
ElDiablo
I'd take 3, he's worth about 4 i'd say in today's market so 3 would be about right.
Kimbo
I would take anything just to get him off the wage bill.
Wullie
Give him away.
Skeletor
He'll probably do an Ameobi tbh. Same breed of crap.
Guest Alan Shearer 9
£3.5 I reckon we could get. If there's clubs offering that for Shola then surely we could manage that or possibly £4 if a few clubs are interested. Why is this thread started, is someone bidding? These things annoy me becaue they get my hopes up.
Dokko
If we can get £3.5m offers for Ameobi with one year left on his contract then we can get more than that for Smith & Duff each as well.
Guest Alan Shearer 9
I'd take £8 for Duff and Smith, anything above that is a miracle. £15 would be good but not a hope in hell
Guest Heneage
2.5m sooner the better don't see whats holding this up.

geordieglory
I'd take £8 for Duff and Smith, anything above that is a miracle. £15 would be good but not a hope in hell If you deliberately missed out an "m" from your £8 and £15 figures: If there was supposed to be an "m" on the end of those two numbers:

Shak
Honestly I'd give him away at this point with what we'll save on wages. Think we'll end up getting £3m or so for him though, probably off Sunderland.
Teasy
There's no way the club will accept less than £4m for him. It's pretty obvious the new regime want to recoup as much money as possible and are prepared to play hardball. I agree they'll try, but if they can't IMO they should let him go even for £2 million. Considering the insane wages he's on that would still effectively make us £12 million. Should we really try to play hard ball so we can come out with £14 million instead and risk having to keep the useless lump?
womblemaster
better to send him on loan to makems, in the vain attempt to improve his value. Sure keano can inspire enough fear in the donkey to get him to improve. They pay the wages while upping his value for us....sorted)
Teasy
Good idea as long as we can find someone willing to pay his full £65,000 per week wages. I suppose the Mackems would probably be prepard to do that given there'd be no fee.
Guest Spark
We shouldn't be selling anyone at the moment. Our squad is small enough as it is.
Teasy
A reserve player like Lua Lua could come into the first team squad and do just as well if not better then Duff..
