So yes, Spurs do have the greatest comparative strength, but if they lose some players and others keep theirs fit, other teams can topple them.

Villa by a mile, might have said Pompey had they not sold Muntari

how villa?  really, what have they actually got?

Balance, strength, pace, organization and damn good manager.

seriously we could argue this all night but we have equally, if not more, dangerous players than them

compare villas first choice forwards with ours, for example

3. Milner (3pt)

4. Utaka (2pt)

5. Petrov (1pt)

Milner > Petrov?

Easy that one, you know I'm talking about Stylian Petrov the Villa central midfielder who plays on the right hand side, who Villa fans want to replace with Milner....

I don't know where to start with those rankings James.

Anywhere you like.

Okay, take Owen out then swap the list round, put Owen back on the top and that would be my list. Crouch, Viduka and carew above Yakubu? Collicini top ahead of the likes of Woodgate, King, Distin, Yobo who are all proven to be excellent defenders in the prem. Gutiarrez ahead of Arteta... could go on.

I'll kick it off...

Arteta is a right winger, and probably the best one!! Even left wing he's better than bloody kranjcar, young, and the unproven Guti and Modric (in this league).

Cahil's a midfielder who scores more goals than most of those he's up against, never mind assists.

Carew and Viduka better than Yakubu

Milner better than 2 people?

James,

Sorry, but where did you get those numbers? Really a bit silly giving a player like Modric who has done nothing 4 points and a proven player like Arteta 1 point. Really, you'd rate Carew, Viduka, and Crouch ahead of Yakubu? Based on what? Surely not  goals scored.

How?  Villa have lost a centre half granted, but gained a far superior goal keeper, are on the verge of getting a decent rightback (which they didn't have last year) & signed Shorey & Sidwell.

Seriously mate, what an absolute load of rubbish

Carew, Viduka and Crouch better Yakubu in terms of overall play, and Viduka and Crouch would get more goals if they played the same number of games as Yak.

OK then

Barton over Reo-Coker - Barton who basically did nothing last and has had nearly no preseason over Reo-Coker who enjoyed a very solid year last season.

Campbell over Laursen and Yobo - Campbell was rubbish at the back end of last season and is starting to go down hill fast. Both Yobo and Laursen have been rcoks for Everton and Villa

Coloccini - How can you rank this guy at the top when he hasn't played a single Premiership game and amny of the defenders below have been rocks in the Premiership these last few years

Jenas - Your showing more bias here. Jenas was much better performer last season than Guthrie and Barton

I could go on but I won't.
