È nato azzurrino, è da sette anni che sta col Napoli, c’è rimasto anche dopo il fallimento della società e vuole continuare a starci». Però? «Però se il Napoli che sa tutto non gli fa il contratto, ha pure diritto ad una chance. Anche se - aggiunge papà Liccardo - per noi e anche per lui viene prima la scuola e poi il pallone». Insomma, Napoli avvisato. Liccardo non ha fatto nulla di nascosto. Anzi, al Napoli ha chiesto un appuntamento e dovrebbero incontrarsi appena dopo Ferragosto. Ma quali e «quante» le tentazioni inglesi? A Liccardo gli emissari del Newcastle hanno offerto un contratto triennale che complessivamente supera il mezzo milione di euro. E in più, è ovvio, scuola, convitto, assistenza. Una bella tentazione, non v’è dubbio, ma, assicura Crescenzo: «In cima ai miei desideri resta il Napoli comunque». Contro il mercato dei minori, si sa, i club non hanno difese. Ma questa storia, anche su sollecitazione della Federcalcio italiana, dovrebbe trovare la sua fine nel 2009. L’ha promesso Platini, presidente dell’Uefa, annunciando soltanto un paio di settimane fa che entro il prossimo anno la Commissione europea varerà una direttiva che impedirà il trasferimento all’estero dei calciatori con meno di 18 anni.
