Mr Logic
Push Beye up and play Bassong with Colo, Taylor to RB maybe?
STM
Push Beye up and play Bassong with Colo, Taylor to RB maybe? I have no problem with that. At least Beye will beat Clichy more than Milner.

STM
Given Beye Taylor Coloccini Enrique Jonas Guthrie Butt N'Zogbia Duff Owen Comfortable defeat. Is Duff in the squad? That wouldn't be a bad side IMO.

robm
Looking at those training pics from today cant see Duff, Smithie or Geremi there. Shola could be fit.....
afar
This could be what he plays, considering some of the comments he's made about Colo: Given Beye Bassong Taylor Enrique Colo Jonas Butt Guthrie Zog Owen I don't like it one bit, but I don't think we have too many options
Colocho
Duff's been ruled out of Ireland's games, so there's no chance of him playing tomorrow.

afar
So Geremi is fit then? I fucking don't know, but the squad according to that list has 19 people, if my maths is correct we need 18 to fill the bench !!
Ikon
I haven't read through this hole thread tbh, but i think this might be a game where Coloccini shows his class, i hope he does. His positioning will be vital for us i think, and im confident he will do well... COME ON NEWCASTLE!! He has showed class before. But in this game i think we will see even more of it... Expecting too much for someone who hasnt even been in the country for a month yet. If he has a competent performance, I'll be very pleased. Give it two or three years and then hope he'll be the rock in our defence able to hold us together against top sides.
ElDiablo
Can't wait. Last 3 games I've been to though have all ended in 3-0 defeats.

But i have a feeling we will see the best of Colo in this game. Even if he might get even better in the future when he gets used to this league. But Playing against Arsenal is like playing against Barcelona when it comes to playing style, not many long and high balls. So i think this game might suit him. But of course the whole team has to defend well also..

ATB
Think Colo may play as dm tomorrow. Guthire at the wing. Not ideal. But we don´t have the numbers right now.

Who are we going to play then? KK has even said that he can play there if we get injuries etc. If Geremi is out we just have the junior´s left.
