Typical this. Would have got some much needed confidence from his goal today, but gets injured :(

Much needed confidence?  he is an Argentine international playing in the Championship .. confidence for this guy shouldn't be an issue in this league.

Well he destroyed P'boro in the time he was on, so probably time for the critics to shut up and take a rest for a couple of weeks.

Yeah - 1 goal in 45 appearances should shut 'em up eh ?

It can be though, if your club forms going badly & your stuck in a bad patch it'll affect your confidence regardless.

Especially with his finishing.

Glad he's scored for him. Even with the injury, that'll be a lift any time he plays for us now. Should be less panicky infront of goal.

The football in the first 20 mins before he went off was the best we've played all season. It does suggest that if we play fast passing football it will showcase Jonas' strengths far better, and the fact he looked much more effective under Keegan's pass and move style backs this up as well. One swallow doesn't make a summer I agree but the people who have pointed this out in his defence have a fair case IMO.

So basically if we aren't playing fast passing football he gets a free pass to play shit?
