Beezeri
Watched a 40 minute compilation of footage of him last season, opitimised exactly how good and equally frustrating he can be. The amount of times he ran with the ball through and around players and really opened the game up, only to then fail with the final pass or shot. He's an intelligent player surrounded by players not on his same wavelength if you ask me, he'll never ever be able to adapt and become a traditional winger whipping crosses in, but his retention of the ball and running at players will terrify some of the s*** in this division. Glad he's back tonight. Foreign players, in particular South Americans are not brought up/trained in the way British wingers were. Their game is more about dribbling, keeping the ball on the deck, quick passing, playing though balls on the deck.....not the old British way of sticking to the sides, running to the byline and then high crosses to the big centre forward. Yeah, this is pretty much what I mean, I was meant to put 'traditional British winger'. And that's why he should be played more as an attacking central midfielder IMO! He will never learn to cross the ball but he's very much capable of keeping it on the deck and open up defences by passing it through the middle... Not much point keeping the ball and play wide when you can't deliver it in front of the goal when needed

Guest Phil K
He's an easy target Maybe, but he brings a lot of it on himself. That said, why aren't the trainers getting him to release the ball earlier ?
Ronaldo
He made us look a different team when he came on, and the cohesion with Enrique is very encouraging. Why should he release the ball earlier? Before Harewood came on he had nobody to aim for
Mowen
Why was Steve Stone on the radio? He wasn't bad actually, was the summariser on 5liveXtra. He said that Jonas had given us something different but was getting very wound up with his inability to deliver anything at all, kept saying how frustrating a player he is. Darth Crooks
Hope he can keep fit. he'd boss centre mid but if only we could find replacement wide players ...It's shocking how threadbare the squad really is. I was impressed with LuaLua at p'boro but haven't really seen much of him other than that
STM
He changed the game for us yesterday, before he came on we couldn't create a chance, after he came on we were wasting chances. That's an improvement IMO.
Skirge
His is creative, okay a little eratic at times but I fkn love Jonas, wish he could play central though

Segun Oluwaniyi
How bad could Jonas have been last night? It was his first game back in the team. Why is everyone rushing to blame him?
Jayson
Jonas isn't good enough. IF we get promoted then he'll have to go and be replaced. Infuriating t***. Not sure replacing Jonas is much of priority, we have pretty much the whole rest of the squad to worry about first.
Jayson
How bad could Jonas have been last night? It was his first game back in the team. Why is everyone rushing to blame him? Everyones going back over the whole "wait he's a winger who doesnt cross constantly??" issue & getting wound up over it again for no reason. He had a good game from what ive heard. Lotus
Do we have a better option for LW? No! Does everyone know he doesn't put the ball in the box? Yes! Is there any point to keep slagging him off over it knowing we don't have a replacement? No! Do some people just love whining? Apparently.

We're not allowed to complain if we don't have any better options? Fuck me, Shola's our best striker but you'd better believe I'll be complaining if that's still the case at the start of a Premier League season.
