James
Kenneth Monkou was raised and educated in Holland. He became a professional football player at the age of 20 signing for Feyenoord in Holland in 1985. He also played for the Dutch Olympic team of 1987/8. In 1988/9 he signed for Chelsea FC with whom he had a successful relationship both on and off the field, being awarded player of the year in 1990/1. In 1992 he signed for Southampton FC where he remained for seven and a half years, becoming player of the year five times and runner up twice. In 1999 he signed for Huddersfield FC until he left a year and a half later and then returned to Chelsea FC where he played until he retired in 2002/3. Well done. 2 points. I personally think that's b*llocks by the way because I've found no evidence at all to suggest Monkou returned to Chelsea. There are quotes from the man himself in this month's Four Four Two. Shearergol
Monkou didn't go back to Chelsea. Where the hell is that info from? Ken Monkou himself in FourFourTwo. He went back to Chelsea to front an anti racism campaign. He wasn't registered as a player, so I've no idea how he could have ever made the reserve team. Strange that he's not listed in any squads or match reports. Fancy posting the interview?
James
"I don't think many people realise that I finished my career at Chelsea: I went back as a reserve under Claudio Ranieri. I was going to make my second debut at the age of 38 against Aston Villa, but I pulled my calf on the Friday and young Robert Huth made his debut instead." There's absolutely zero evidence that it actually happened, and all Chelsea fans I know refuse to believe it. http://www.soccerage.com/en/28/4aab.html

Don't see why he would make it up!
