steve_69 Posted January 12, 2009 Share Posted January 12, 2009 One of the reasons Distin cited for not joining us all those years ago was because we kept playing him at left back whereas Man City wanted to play him in his favoured position - Centre Back. Distin has tunred us down twice already so i doubt he's jumping at the chance to join us now, especially if we're planning to play him at left back. I watched Valencia recently and I'm not sure if I was seeing things but Miguel looked as if he had grown another belly. Looked to have put on some serious weight.
