Kinnear's Sunderland wonderland

What a load of crap. It's the media thinking once again of how they can try and upset things up here. Martins is injured so it can't be a story about him leaving, they've done the Owen thing too much over the past week and Ashley has already said he wants to sell.

"hmmmm, hang on, Sunderland don't have a manager! Why don't we say something about Kinnear applying for it. That'll get the Geordies angry with Kinnear so they'll boo him in the game against Spurs and they'll lose badly."

They're fucking idiots, especially on a Sunday.

"And news of the astonishing move will spark uproar at St James' Park when Newcastle take on Tottenham this afternoon"

"while Newcastle fans will be incensed by what they will consider as treachery"

What makes it more fucking idiotic is that they seem to forget half of us don't even like the man anyway. We'd happily wave him off to our rivals

Agree with everything Jonny Hall has said there. It's 99% likely to be Sunday paper shitehawkers, and even if it is that 1% and true that Kinnear wants the Sunderland job, it's not like we'll have sleepless nights over it. In fact, I'd only be worried that we'd have to suffer that fuckwit of a tactician Hughton for a few more games until we can find another bloke.

The chap who wrote about this in the well known football bible The Daily Star On Sunday was Paul Hethrington (Sunderland fan) who said on the Sunday Supp "It was a 3rd party that claimed to be representing Kinnear who approached the Sunderland board"
