ponsaelius
Not much chance of that guys, as you can see most of the scousers are confident of attaining 4th place. http://www.redandwhitekop.com/forum/index.php?topic=271457.0 Most? If given the choice they would rather take 4th over a Europa league trophy ..... it's totally misleading to say they are 'confident' of achieving that man. They are simply stating what they prefer. There's a lot of posts where they say it's possible. Not to mention the 40 page thread on the next page specifically about getting 4th spot. And will you please for the love of fuck remove that odious little cretin from your avatar.

No disrespect to the europa league but, it's a second tier event which simply has too many clubs playing in it and a long drawn on cup that I find honestly, unneccessary. It should be similar in style to the champions league to really have an impact globally.

Guest The_Miz
http://www.people.co.uk/sport/2011/02/27/weight-for-kop-carroll-102039-22951736/ LIVERPOOL new boy Andy Carroll has been told he needs to lose a few pounds before making his long-awaited debut. The £35million January signing from Newcastle has yet to turn out for the Reds because of a thigh problem. In fact, Carroll has not played since the Toon’s 2-0 defeat by Tottenham on December 28. And People Sport can reveal the 22-year-old striker has been ordered by training staff at Melwood to trim down before his debut in the next couple of weeks. Delighted A Liverpool source said: “Andy has not played this year because of his injury and, like all big lads when they are not in full-time training, he has become a little bit too bulky. “He’s been told to lose five or six pounds before Liverpool fans can see him in action. “But we did our homework on Carroll and know that he is an excellent trainer and this shouldn’t be a problem.” Carroll’s problem is his kicking muscle in his thigh which has bled internally and this held up his Kop debut. Reds boss Kenny Dalglish said this week he has been delighted with the player’s progress.
Ronaldo
Yeah, 5 pounds, what a hugely significant difference that will make to a player of that height and style of play. There's not an ounce of excess fat or muscle on the lad. Absolute load of complete tripe.

I stood right next to him in Aspers one night and was surprised at how skinny was, thought he would be proper stacked the way he puts himself about. BottledDog
Keegan would have sold him for £35m, but doesn't think Pards will see any of the money. http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p00fc3sy

TaylorJ_01
Doubt he'll play this week. I sort of hope his injury is outrageously recurring.

Hanshithispantz
I wonder how Carroll is going to score goals for that s*** team..They have no Barton to serve him the crossers he needs. Gerrard plays CM or LM these days.. Glen Johnson is a decent crosser of the ball and Meireless is fucking amazing, him or Gerrard could easily drift out and float a few in during the course of the game, plus I think Barton only crossed to Carroll once from the right to grab an assist (West Ham away), the rest coming from free kicks and corners, of which Gerrard and Meireles are more than calable of taking. Guest Chubby Jason
I think he will do well. I hope he scores a few against Man United scum if he plays, Pool should go for it and start him as he will probably be against Smalling & Wes Brown.
