captainhaircut
Schneiderlin in the middle of the park for Soton is meant to be a cracking player. Not really seeing much of it today as they're getting hammered but his touch and vision looks alright. Might be worth pilfering for a meagre sum now they're knacked. Guest Heneage
Southampton have had some decent moments just poor decision making in the last third.

Has been quality all season. Could be a good buy when we go down.

Has been quality all season. Could be a good buy when we go down. He wouldn't. Overhyped, hasn't been quality all season - in fact has missed various sitters throughout the season and disappears in games. Apparently he hasn't recaptured the form he had at the end of the 06/07 season when he was called up for the U21s. And Schneiderlin has talent, but is constantly on the physio's bench; he's been unable to put a run of games together to enable him to really get going too. I wouldn't touch anyone at Southampton really, but Schneiderlin, Lallana, Surman and McGoldrick all have potential but it's not been actualised at all over the last season. Shows how "The Championship" can make a player look good. Can't be any worse than Duff
Dave
Anyone seen Duberrys "tackle" today? and he only got a yellow too, could have been another Eduardo imo You must be fucking kidding. It wasn't even a free-kick.
Dave
It was a hard tackle but he didn't jump in, didn't go over the top, and he most certainly won the ball. If the guy came off badly that's unfortunate but like I say, it wasn't even a free-kick IMO.

Thespence
Liverpool: Reina, Arbeloa, Carragher, Agger, Insua, Benayoun, Mascherano, Alonso, Riera, Torres, Kuyt. Subs: Cavalieri, Dossena, Gerrard, Lucas, Ngog, El Zhar, Skrtel. Blackburn: Robinson, Andrews, Ooijer, Nelsen, Givet, Mokoena, Dunn, Kerimoglu, Warnock, Treacy, Samba. Subs: Bunn, McCarthy, Grella, Khizanishvili, Villanueva, Olsson, Doran. Agger & Carra SHOULD be able deal with Samba in open play it is how well Alonso & Mascherano clear up that will be key. Neil
So who is Blackburn's most attacking player? David Dunn?
Cajun
Why is McCarthy on the bench?
Jimburst
You'd think they'd have someone with a bit more attacking Nous than Samba, tbh.
Neil
Why is McCarthy on the bench? Too attacking.
Dave
On Soccer Saturday earlier they were discussing Derbyshire going out on loan, and said that 'surely' Allardyce would want more striking options in this situation. Er, no.
Dave
1-0 Liverpool, Torres. Fantastic goal.

ChrisJbarnes
right, so thats 451 with a centreback up front. they even have a load of defenders in midfield god i hate allardyce. cant see this one being a goalfest you know what, if i was in a room with allardyce and osama bin laden and had a gun with 2 bullets, id beat allardyce to death with the gun and then shoot the air twice in celebration
Fugazi
Superb, you just knew that when he brought it down that it was very likely he was going to put it in the top corner.

ChrisJbarnes
can anyone explain the logic behind odds of 10-1 ona blackburn win before the game, and now they are losing its 17-2?
