Really emotional film. Love the bit where the Geordie customs bloke just lets him through because he is on trial at NUFC. Also like the bit when Brian Johnson finds out the guy behind is the players dad & immediately pulls him a chair up & buys him a pint. Seeing the Carville in Wallsend on the big screen is classic.

 

For non-Newcastle fans & non-geordies this film could be well shit.

I'm sure that captain of the reserve team who had it in for Santiago went on to play for Arsenal in the Champions League Final in Goal 2...amazing how his career panned out.

Then again pretty much every sports film ever made is shit.

 

Today's the first I've seen this one. Turned it off after an hour, Anna Friel was the only good thing about it.  :smitten:
