James
I only saw this film once in the cinemas, but I'm convinced that it is a tribute to the Hitzfeld campaign.

M4
I missed the casting to be an extra by one day after being selected. Arrived in Newcastle for a new job a day too late Tbh the film's got some cracking shots of the city, etc. Indeed one of the best things indeed. Beautiful bird's eye shots of the quayside, stadium... Scoreboard82
Liverpool may have hammered us on Sunday, but we beat them in "Goal". Revenge is sweet.
OzzieMandias
Then again pretty much every sports film ever made is shit. Very true. The only exception I can think of is Any Given Sunday -- and I say this as a man who normally hates Oliver Stone movies and has no interest in gridiron football.
