Fenham Mag
Quite s**t really. Was sat right next to them and the club really need to do something about them throwing stuff over the balcony. I saw full bottles and coins rain down on the poor b******s beneath them. How hard is it for a net/barrier of some sort be put up. Also, hardly ever sang even when 1-0 up. Some of our fans should be ashamed too . Some racist chants after the match to the likes of Kenywe Jones . E.g. Kenywne , he eats bananas with his feet or something along those lines. This match does bring out some right numpties like.
Dokko
What do you expect when mackems can run on the pitched and goad players and get away with it? There's a problem here...its called the FA...fuking arseholes.

Mistle17
I thought our fans were fantastic today. Didnt turn on the lads and backed them from the first to the last whistle. I hardly heard sunderlands fans once. Shite.
Guest toonlass
Seriously though, there was a couple of bottles thrown from level 7 down onto the lower levels of the leazes and it was not nice. The lower leazes obviously knew it was happening as they reacted. They stewards had no control over the stupid fuckers who threw them.

TêteDeMaure
I don't know who's set of supporters it was but a coin cracked off the top of the leazes roof and fell back, hit some bloke infront.

mattypnufc
I saw that like(bottle throwing). Scummy little bastards. Our lads were telling the stewards at half time, they wernt interested. I overheard one of our supporters say 'if those fuckers are chucking bottles, then im gonna chuck them too' Not exactly the best idea...this is what happens when police/stewards dont control coin flinging and bottle throwing tho. As for them today, they were shite. Utterly woeful infact. The atmosphere in St James (well in L7 Corner from what I could see/hear) was amazing today like. Racists chants...all I heard was 'Kenwyne Jones sells watches on the beach...watches on the beach...' Not sure how racists this would be deemed, but it was definately being sung. A bit tasteless anyhow.
midds
Definitely one of the quietest sets of fans this season. A few chants sporadically throughout the game but pretty quiet really. Expected a lot more noise.

Guest toonlass
My dad reckons there was bother at the Central Station before the match and the police used pepper spray on them. Anyone know if its true? Saw a Geordie lad(I think, no colours but he was in our section of the leazes) getting banged up by a load of police in riot gear, and loads of people videoing it on their mobiles. davy_fulla
Never mind the mackems - some of our fans were an embarrasment. Walking into the game there was an oldish (about 50yrs old) guy whos mouth was pissing with blood shouting at this other guy who'd just smacked him in the face. He was saying 'For f***s sake man I'm black and white' The other guy was apologising saying he thought he was a mackem and then thy proceeded to give each other a cuddle in the middle of Barrack Rd before walking into the game. Wankers!

A mackem I know was being escorted from central, had a pint glass thrown at him, then one of ours supposedly threw a cone at the polis. Ours then tried to charge and tear gas was used. Guest toonlass
Did he abseil down from level 7? Em no. We didn't sell out for the game until yesterday. They could buy tickets anywhere in the home end as easily as we could.
