Guest sicko2ndbest
I am defining influential as players who when playing make a big difference and when injured leave a big hole Top 10s please 1 being the most influential 1. Martins 2. Barton 3. Beye 4. Bassong 5. Jonas 6. Owen 7. Viduka 8. Colo 9. Taylor S 10. Geremi I am not saying that this is a list of the best players, as Owen would probably be higher. I think a starting 11 with the top 5 players on this list in, would be nowhere near the bottom of the league
joeyt
Agree with your list but would put Nolan somewhere and get rid of Geremi
ChrisMcQuillan
Agree with your list but would put Nolan somewhere and get rid of Geremi Unfortunately, Geremi's number of assists makes that difficult.
James
I think a starting 11 with the top 5 players on this list in, would be nowhere near the bottom of the league Not with Kinnear in charge.
Pilko
Martins is far and away the most influential player because he has an element of unpredictability, and also he can stretch games with his pace.

johnnypd
atm Harper is probably the most important
Kaizero
1. Harper (We'd have youngsters in goal in some of our most important games in our history. Though good youngsters they are still youngsters with little experience.) 2. Martins 3. Beye 4. Barton 5. Jonas 6. Bassong 7. Enrique (Enrique out means Bassong to LB and Saylor into CB) 8. Nolan (Though new, he's one to push Butt out of the team with Guthrie and Barton fit.) 9. Owen 10. Colo
Guest palnese
I reckon Barton would have been on top, or 2-3-ish if fit... our one quality midfielder in the squad.
Kimbo
1. Martins 2. Beye 3. Jonas 4. Bassong 5. Owen 6. Coloccini Apart from Harper no one else is worth mentioning.

Ronaldo
Kimbo's bang on if he mentions Enrique and Barton tbh
Kimbo
Apart from a bit of form at the end of last season Barton hasn't done anything for us. You can't be influential if you don't play. For the record i think Lovenkrands and Taylor(for his set pieces) will make this list soon.
Liam Liam Liam O
Butt is currently having the most influence on our performances sadly.
JH
Barton does have a certain class about him, but what has he actually done for us to make him influential? Just being the best CM at the club doesn't warrant mention. He's barely played and he's barely scored (bar penalties)
Doug
Not Butt
