taxfree
Perch sent off get in. A double sending off as Morrison and James Perch receive their matrching orders for an off-the-ball incident just short of the halfway line. Good boy, Perch.
ponsaelius
Get in Perch, Ravel Morrison is a cunt.

Pilko
Michael Richardson scored for Toon he's come from nowhere like. He's our reserves' Nolan.
Guest Heneage
James Perch. Apparently, Morrison kicked Perch who in turn raised his hands.

Guest ObiChrisKenobi
Conor Newton injured - out for the rest of the season. He's the other ginger kid in the reserves.
Guest icemanblue
Conor Newton injured - out for the rest of the season. He's the other ginger kid in the reserves. Shame. Best player on the pitch (til Vuckic came on) in that FA Youth Cup Semi against Villa last year. Has he made much progress this year?
BeloEmre
He was in the squad against Bolton or Everton right?

80
Did anyone watch Adam Campbell playing for the England U16s against Northern Ireland the other night? I recorded and ran through it to pick out his highlights, although there weren't many, partly as he came off at half-time. Did very little on the ball but what he did he did well, had a knack of unexpectedly keeping the ball for his team, I'd like to imagine he'd play better in a better one - intelligent possession play type thing. Only thing his teammates really offered was Devante Cole's bluster... His main involvement was England's best play of that half, when on the edge of the box he flicked the ball back on himself, parallel to the goal, and ultimately hit a very nice shot off the post. Looks like he's a well-weighted player as things stand, has good control over his limbs, which you'd hope given he's all of three foot tall... shorts down to his ankles. Still, his overall lack of impact on this particular game was a bit disappointing.
Frazzle
He played out of position for 40 mins with players he's trained with for a maximum of about a week. He hit the post and had a few good touches, I don't know why you're disappointed.
80
I would have liked to have seen more of him From what I saw, it hardly even amounted to a few touches. Strange comment.
Guest ObiChrisKenobi
Was class to see one of the youth players be himself practising freekicks today. Class attitude.

Colocho
Playing Everton Reserves today. "Tim Krul is in goal for an otherwise youthful second-string side, with rising stars like Phil Airey, Michael Richardson and James Tavernier starting for Peter Beardsley's team and kick-off is 2pm."
