Shearer on the phone, texting our new owners? :pow:

Txting Hughton.

"Sign me pls. Love Al.

Ps. Dowie 2"

noticed Dowie was on the pitch at the start, hhmmm

Aye that was a bit odd. Maybe Dowie just feels he has to follow Shearer or else he'll be forgotten

a few observations:

1) get alan thompson signed up as a player

2) i think i'd have died of laughter if the streaker did some kick ups

3) this is blatantly gonna be a draw, with england winning on penalties......therefore rectifying 1990.

this match is fun :aww:

Did they actually show the streaker? I've just switched over again

Aye. Think he almost got hit in the bollocks with the ball.

Ah, so it was male

I know this is a testimonial of sorts, or a charity match. But I expected more from the atmosphere like.

Beresford is still a better full back than Ryan Taylor

Count Duckula is a better full back, and he's a cartoon

(So is RT too like)

I thought I'd never live to see the day where Howard Wilkinson was giving team talks in the home dressing room at SJP

You never know, Ashley's such an imbecile, it might be a regular sight next season

How good was des walker back in the day?

Absolutely immense,  people these days rave about the likes of Terry or Ferdinand.....they couldn't lace his boots.

the way he's playing today, he could do a job for us!!
