Nothing is happening.

This Barry Moat shit is bollocks. Media Bullshit taking people in at its finest.

It's a genuine bid. Whether it has any chance or is just being manipulated to push others remains to be seen, but it's a real bid.

Ashley's attitude says a lot about hwere this bid will end up though. Just like when he went to dubai to flog the club in the summer, he decided to skip the meeting and sit with his mates drinking cocktails in a bar. This time he's jetted off to the bahamas or wherever to get some sun on his fat arse which shows how seriously he's taking all this.

Excellent to see that even though his oafish brother is gone, Howaytheclown remains as easy to rattle as ever. Once a spastic.....

You have to seriously question the motives of an owner who not only tries to run away at the first sign of adversity but also does it in no apparent rush. Ashley could have  redeemed himself after Keegangate and relegation had he just gritted his teeth, rode the storm and brought in an able, long-term replacement manager. Instead, he's decided to do a runner on both occasions and the resulting periods of instability and ambiguity have done far more harm to this club than his other mistakes (Dennis Wise, KK etc). I'm honestly swaying over to the opinion that this man has it in for us.

I just said the exact same thing to some mates in the bar earlier. Living in Spain you get some strange opinions of other supporters from around the UK. Alot of them seem to think that we have been unfair to MA and forced him away, that we are ungrateful!! It boils my piss I tell you.

Last season we were a premier side and always on in bars this year it's "have you got BBC1?" feel a right twat.

The Office of Fair Trading referred the deal to the commission after Sports Direct failed to sell stores in five areas with competition concerns.

Sports Direct had been warned in May that it faced an inquiry if it failed to find buyers for the outlets.

The OFT said Sports Direct had not sold the stores and had "made no significant progress in doing so".

Erm, there's a recession on you know?

At every opportunity, Ashley has done the worst thing he could possibly do for the club.

Whether that is down to incompetence or vindictiveness, I don't know. My faith in the human spirit makes me want to think it is just incompetence, but Christ, you really do have to ask yourself how anyone could thing that the situation now is in anyway protecting his investment (and I choose that criteria as it is the one thing which he should be worried about, even if he doesn't really give a shit about the club beyond that).

It really beggars belief.

When you went down, I thought if you managed to keep hold of a nucleus of half decent players (for that level) and indulged in some sensible purchasing you'd come straight back on, you'd be a stick on for it.

But looking at what has happened since, and looking at some of the other decent clubs in that division next season, I really do fear for you. The tragedy of it all is that - to an outside observer - it actually does look like it has happened by design, and not through circumstances.

Have to agree. Just watched the Boro game tonight and although it was a shite game, I got the feeling that both teams had more than enough to turn us over. Sadly, I reckon we could be looking at the drop again.

The guy has almost killed the club, whether by design or by total ineptitude (I strongly suspect the later) and I  too honestly fear for us this season. How much will we be worth to him as a League 1 side?

Sometimes i think to myself no he is a man running a business who has made some stupid mistakes and doesnt know how to get out of it than i think maybe he does know what he is doing and doesnt give a shit about his loss knowing he will probably get some money back with other business concerns and this is just a project thats gone wrong and his bitterness towards us the fans is the reason he is fucking us up to make us suffer but surely he wouldnt do that  :undecided:

How does Boro vs Sheffield United tell you anything about how good either team are in comparison to us? Laughing  Honestly makes me laugh this kind of s***.

Well Teasy, Boro had a bit of pace to them, Johnson looked good wide, Yeates too. Sheffield just looked strong from front to back and both teams played with a lot more energy than we have shown recently.

Look, I'm a fucking fan but I'm telling you we are in the shit here and if we are not very careful we'll be straight down.

Lift your head out from that hole in the fucking sand you've got it stuck in. :idiot2:

If I question someone saying we're going to get beaten then I must be saying we're brilliant and going to win the league yes?, no..  What I said is you simply can't watch a game against teams we haven't even played and declare that we'll obviously get beaten off them because they looked good against each other.  Not until we have some kind of baseline to compare each team.  It just boils my piss when people jump to negative conclusions.

Man you've got no clue what I'm trying to say here :nope:  If I question someone saying we're going to get beaten then I must be saying we're brilliant and going to win the league yes?, no..  What I said is you simply cannot watch a game against teams we haven't even played and declare that they'll obviously get beaten off them because they looked good against each other.  Until we have some kind of baseline to compare each team with its nonesense.  It just boils my piss when people jump to negative conclusions.

Laugh .....

Listen my friend, wake up, smell the coffee, we are in big shit. I’ve just watched a game, where in my opinion (and football is all about opinions) both teams showed more passion, more commitment and more energy than I’ve seen from a Newcastle team in a long while ……. and it wasn’t a good game.

You just keep on telling yourself we’re okay and be careful boiling your piss it’ll stain your mams pans.

Ok you've obviously got no intention of having a discussion, just intent on posting the same generic bollocks, have fun mate, I'm not going to be involved in a 'bang my head against the wall' argument :)

You be as negative as you like and if anyone questions you just post rhetoric about them needing to 'get their head out of the sand' blah blah blah, you're a credit to the forum..
