AyeDubbleYoo
Even though we give Carroll a justified amount of stick, i would still have him in the squad. On his day, he is unplayable and brings something else. He is perfect for international football. Same really. It's a decent squad for me, it's mainly the midfield that's a bit disappointing. Downing, Milner and Walcott would be nowhere near my team. I think Frazier Campbell is potentially very very good, so much depends on keeping his fitness for the next couple of years though. Legacy
David Healy for the most part looked horrific at club level yet looked world class for NI at his peak scoring some ridiculous goals v Spain etc.

Sifu
Frazier Campbell ffs. That squad is quite a joke like. But at least the likes of Ferdinand and Lampard haven't been called up. I do wonder though, would Terry have made the squad if he wasn't injured? (otherwise known as, I wonder if Pearce would have had the balls to not select him, ie. beginning the process of dropping him completely).

Guest je85
I thought the golden generation was earlier than that Ferdinand, Terry, Beckham, Scholes, Lampard, Gerrard, Michael Owen et al.

wormy
Jesus, that squad is just poor. whatever happened to the 'Golden Generation'? (Copywright every shit tabloid circa 2010) Been and gone and went. Wasted. Hopefully we can live without that sickeningly over-hyped tag from now on and the media won't pretend that we're capable of blitzing everyone in our path because Gerrard managed to dance round two Macedonian postmen and Owen slotted it past their resident insurance salesman. Guest ObiChrisKenobi
I didn't see it, but John Peacock was up here last month doing a coaching session for the public and it was apparently amazing. Still, no idea what Phil Neville's credentials are.
