I think I'll actually shoot myself if the other four come off and it's that one that lets me down.

Think it would be a lot worse if that one comes off and someone like Darlington get an unlikely result.

In tonight's Four Nations Rugby League match, France look too good to turn down with a 36 point start on the handicap. England should win but I wouldn't expect them to get near the handicap.

:D

Final score was England 34-12 France. At no point during the game did England look like covering the handicap.

They did for small bit after the break.......as I was like you counting down the try's. Lucky I got a bit of inplay action at H/T with Eng -6

To be honest mate, I never felt they had it in them to cover it, even when they did get those tries just after half time.

I wasn't meant to be going to the game but got offered a couple of freebies earlier on so decided to go. Would definitely have backed England at HT at -6 if I'd have been at home. :kasper:

Just back from bookies.

Did a 2 from each section:

Chelsea

Spurs

Barnet

Rochdale

Brentford

Chesterfield

Crystal Palace

Leeds

Hull

Boro

Fiver on that will pay about £4500 - £5000

Then..

Spurs

Bristol Rovers

MK Dons

Barnet

Rochdale

Dagenham

Fiver pays £200

Looking at the previous results, I'm surprised by such comparatively short odds for the supposed favourites. A number of high-profile casualties lately. Don't know how such poor odds can be justified tbh.

At the last minute before setting off for the game I realised I'd won a random bet I placed last night on some Irish teams (treble) so stuck £3 on us to win and £2 on Guthrie to score any time, at least one of them went well...
