Lay is when you're offering the bet to the market - playing the role of the bookie, if you like. Therefore, it wasn't 0-0, so you win the bet. Well, the whole idea of the £10 - £1000 challenge is that you're trying to turn that original £10 into a much bigger sum by avoiding the 0-0 games, whilst there are certain steps you can take to minimise the likelihood, there will always be the 'random' 0-0 result that throws a spanner in the works. That's the silver bullet you're trying to avoid for 10/20/30/however many games you set yourself in your original market. At the end of the day, it's a tenner that might fall at hurdle number 1, it might fall at hurdle 51, it's decent entertainment and you can always withdraw your original stake at some point along the way. Basically, all you're doing is betting that a goal will be scored in a match. You can do this on Betfair by backing 1+ goals in the Total Goals Market, or by 'laying' the 0-0 result in the Correct Score market (i.e. taking someone else's bet that the game will finish 0-0). Could go either way as both teams are in similar form. Vålerenga has a bit more about them on paper though. If you eally want to bet on this, go Vålerenga dnb as they are a much better side on paper. 5pm Kick-Off Reveal hidden contents Haugesund - Hønefoss 1.90 - 3.45 - 3.90 Two newly promoted teams, one of them filthy rich (by Norwegian standards) and the other with the second smallest budget in the Norwegian prem. Haugesun are really canny at bringing through talent from their academy and their current players know eachother very well. Hønefoss are put together this season by throwing in a bunch of mercenaries, and they are yet to actually score. Haugesund wins this. Rosenborg - Strømsgodset 1.34 - 4.65 - 9.00 Rosenborg wins, they've had some troubles the past two matches. But in both draws they were the better side and it was down to sheer bad luck. They'll be well up for this and should rip Strømsgodset a new arsehold. I'd be tempted to go Rosenborg -1 as well. Sandefjord - Odd Grenland 2.70 - 3.30 - 2.50 Odd Grenland are on canny form, and should see this through. Can end up being a bit tricky, but they need to have enough about them to see off Sandefjord if they want to follow up their perfomance last season, which they are on good way of doing so far this season. Stabæk - Tromsø 1.57 - 3.75 - 5.85 Tromsø matches are always tricky, as they have an unpredictable old forward in Sigurd Rushfeldt, as well as a few canny players in midfield and defence. They also have the leagues best keeper, but they are a team that's on/off all the time. Stabæk are without Veigar Pall Gunnarsson, which has been their biggest asset so far this season, and I'm not too confident they'll do as well without him. I'd not risk it. Viking - Lillestrøm 2.15 - 3.40 - 3.20 Viking dnb. They're good at home, and Lillestrøm are not good away. Easy math. 7pm Kick-Off Reveal hidden contents Molde - Brann 1.80 - 3.50 - 4.30 Molde should win this looking at the teams, but it's too unpredictable for me as both teams have had a shit start to the season.
