Lay is when you're offering the bet to the market - playing the role of the bookie, if you like.  Therefore, it wasn't 0-0, so you win the bet.

Downside of this, that if it was 0-0, then it would wipe out a huge load of your money in one go.

Well, the whole idea of the £10 - £1000 challenge is that you're trying to turn that original £10 into a much bigger sum by avoiding the 0-0 games, whilst there are certain steps you can take to minimise the likelihood, there will always be the 'random' 0-0 result that throws a spanner in the works.

That's the silver bullet you're trying to avoid for 10/20/30/however many games you set yourself in your original market.

At the end of the day, it's a tenner that might fall at hurdle number 1, it might fall at hurdle 51, it's decent entertainment and you can always withdraw your original stake at some point along the way.

Basically, all you're doing is betting that a goal will be scored in a match.

You can do this on Betfair by backing 1+ goals in the Total Goals Market, or by 'laying' the 0-0 result in the Correct Score market (i.e. taking someone else's bet that the game will finish 0-0).

Matched just before the first goal, nice way to end the day by reaching the 100% marker.

Interesting, might well try this seems (relatively) straight forward (ie avoid bolton vs wigan type games).

Yeah, it's as difficult as you make it. I was quite pleased to see that the Blackburn v Pompey game ended 0-0 as I'd circled that as one to avoid.

Bit of fun and everyone likes to win, even if it is 7% at a time...

has kaizero posted his predictions yet?

This round has a lot of 50/50 match ups, but going by the teams form in pre-season and after the season has started, there's a potential gold mine in the odds. Which are taken at the time this is posted from Unibet.
