Guest wshmag Posted August 7, 2009 Share Posted August 7, 2009 fuck it. we are relegated. but nowts really changed. we are still shit, like last season. we are playing in a shit league, like last season. we go to the pub, before and after the match, like last season. we enjoy the matchday experience, as a whole, like last season. we cheer, abuse and go through all the emotions, like last season. we accept another farcical season, like last season. our players are still money grabbing, spineless, bottling, big headed cunts, like last season. we take the flack the media gives us, like last season.... if we get promoted, that would be nice, but we'd only float around below mid table, or be in a relegation scrap in the premiership, like last season. we will not break the top four if we get promoted. nobody will. unless they/we are bankrolled by a billionaire saudia arabian. football has changed, but we havent. it's a shame, but we just have to accept it... too much money is floating around the game nowadays and i'm losing my love for the game. but not newcastle. i take it most of us on here witnesses some good times, under keegan and sbr. remember them. cherish them. they won't be returning. i look forward to my trip to wba tomorrow, a new season,a new era. accept it. nowts really changed. football is shit. we're shit. The sooner we get out of the mindset that we are a premiership shide, temporarily inconvenienced, tthe better. Its going to take hard work, consistent play and the heart for a fight to get us back to where we all want to be. Right now, I'd settle for nothing more ambitious than a guarantee we dont go the way of some of the other illustrious clubs. Play some good football, give us some good memories and HOWAY THE FOOKIN' LADS!!!
