Guest BooBoo
An away game in Greece with a 6pm kick off. This takes me back to that glorious hammering of Olympiakos.
Pilko
Haha, Salzburg vs Lazio on ITV4 - Salzburg corner swung in, keeper punches, massive 6ft 4 striker catches the keeper far too late, keeper goes flying, gets up and headbutts the striker. Bookings all round.
Interpolic
An away game in Greece with a 6pm kick off. This takes me back to that glorious hammering of Olympiakos. Ahhhh I remember that match, I was in the Tanners.
Nobody
Village Idiot, will you be fielding your best team against Xerez tonight?
Village Idiot
Word is that Henry, Messi, Ibrahimovic and Piqué will be rested (Ibrahimovic and Messi just came off injuries to play in el Clásico). Busquets is banned.
Neil
Benfica go ahead, decent news I'd say.
Neil
This ref is a cunt, now booking Howard for not instantly taking the goal kick, ffs, hardly constant time-wasting.
Neil
FUCK OFF REF! Trying to give them the best bloody opportunity to get back into the game.
Neil
And that's a hatrick of injuries. Truly shocked.
Frazzle
Allardyce is playing three forwards tonight. It was heart surgery and not brain surgery he had wasn't it?
SEMTEX
Watching the Salzburg Lazio game. The 6th/5th officials are pointless as they never make a call. They'd be a great idea if they ever actually did something.
Nobody
Howard looked proper surprised when that didn't go in
Village Idiot
And that's a hatrick of injuries. Truly shocked. Defender, midfielder and forward. Is that a perfect injury hattrick?
Nobody
PSG just scored 4 goals in less than ten minutes to go from losing 1-0 to winning 4-
Nobody
And that's a hatrick of injuries. Truly shocked. Defender, midfielder and forward. Is that a perfect injury hattrick? Think the perfect one would have been lone forward gets injured, replaced, the replacement gets injured and then his replacement also gets injured. Ash
Plastic as fuck at the City of Manchester Stadium at this moment in time.
Neil
What a fucking amazing result. Decimated by injuries, Baxter, Coleman and Duffy all playing, and we not only win in Athens but quite frankly they didn't look like scoring apart from a couple of dangerous moments. After the woe of the past few weeks, that's a brilliant relief. Also means we're through, and we can rotate (ha) against BATE.
Village Idiot
Wenger really taking the piss off the Carling Cup with that Arsenal lineup. Rosicky and Song the only theoretical first choice of that lot? No first teamers on the bench? Would be mint if the won against ManCity first XI, though. Yorkie
I've got no issue with Wenger playing that line-up. In the final against Liverpool a couple years back, the team was full of the youngsters that had played in the previous rounds. Which makes it very much fair enough, imo. Ronaldo
I have Arsenal +1 at 4/5. Pretty good odds when you look at how shocking City have been.
