Beezeri
He'll end up with 12 goals this season, baffling. I really don't mind if he's performing now! He didn't do it while at Newcastle at all and we've got ourselves a good deal when he left! And one huge wage off the books

Thespence
I like Defoe, he's becoming a very good goalscorer. He is the Arsenal of strikers does brilliantly against shite & usually fuck all against the big 4.
PM
Why did they draw the line at the defenders? The key thing in this instance was whether he was ahead of the ball or not.
Ronaldo
I like Defoe, he's becoming a very good goalscorer. He is the Arsenal of strikers does brilliantly against s**** & usually f*** all against the big 4. More a reflection of the team than the player. That said, in the group stages and next 2 rounds of the WC, he's hardly likely to come up against anything near a Terry, Ferdinand or Vidic. It looks good for him. I think that is the reason none of the big 4 took a punt on him. He has to be gutted when he links up with England & sees fellow X-WHU juniors all with Big 4 clubs bar him. Thespence
They're all a fair bit older than him tbh. Glen Johnson is younger. Carrick & Cole are not a fair bit older. Rio & Lampard
Ronaldo
Didn't even think of Johnson tbh. Defoe has time on his side, his improvements in the last 2 or 3 years have been massive. I was glad he didn't go to WC 2006 but will be very happy to see him play this time round.

Village Idiot
Pennant gave today what I thought was his first assist of the season, but apparently it was the second... I had him on watch so wonder when was this first one I missed.
