Superior Acuña
lol just remembered when Barton went to see the Stone Roses and couldn't believe it when they "played Waterfall backwards!" To be fair, think he knew it was a track, but like me, didn't think it was one they could do live.
Guest n4e
Barton was key to us getting back up and he had a good season when we got promoted. He's the pricks prick, yes, but he still says nothing wrong about NUFC except about the cunts that run our club and takes pleasure in winding up the mackems. He's the perfect heel. Plus he's a lot more eloquent and interesting than most footballers. He also gave a shit on the pitch and told it how it was. Anything he's said about our club since he's left has been 100% true. I'd have him in our midfield anyday and if anyone would prefer Anita/Gouffran/Sammy then you're fucking deluded. That's a load of none sense, man. True, plus it's all a facade anyway. I'd have a bit more respect for him if he didn't make as much of an effort trying to convince himself and others he's not just a mental cunt despite all the evidence suggesting otherwise. summerof69
Tearing in to Martinez now. Quite enjoyable to listen too, would have been nice to have someone talk about pardew like that

TRon
Barton liked Pardew fwiw. That's the problem with English managers, if they become chummy with the players then it doesn't matter how bad they are at their job, the players won't have a go at them. Mr. Snrub
Gives so much of a shit on the pitch that when things get tough, he loses it and gets sent off and puts his team in the shit. (See Liverpool away for us, Man City & Hull City for QPR). That tackle at Anfield wasn't even a booking, 100% won the ball fairly. Joke of a decision. It would be a lot easier to stomach if people just said that they like him because he speaks his mind, like. As a player he did very little for us and the little that he did do was entirely because Andy Carroll was ridiculous in the air imo.

Kimbo
Him hyping up the last team we had in the championship as full of characters is boring me, they went down without a fight the season before. Now he's calling Mitrovic unbalanced.
Jayson
Him hyping up the last team we had in the championship as full of characters is boring me, they went down without a fight the season before. Now he's calling Mitrovic unbalanced. While surrounded by players who didnt care aye. He's completely right in regards to that side having far more fight obviously. Imagine us being 4-0 down to Arsenal now. Sissoko & Wijnaldum changing that game. Laughable.

Apart from 2002, when was the last time we did that?

Ronaldo
Barton in the PL again, man. There's a guy who's squeezed every drop from his talent. Has he had a good full season since Man City?

A CM pairing of Barton and Colback, shoot me now.
Mr. Snrub
He was Burnley's player of the year so I'm sure there will be an extra year added on to it.

Superior Acuña
Think it was a one year deal but he was (apparently considered) one of their players of the season.

Kaizero
I have watched four or five Burnley matches this season and in those, Barton was the best player on the pitch by a country mile. Which, to be fair, is more telling of the general quality in the Championship more so than Barton's general ability.
mozy
Always liked Barton, not afraid to speak his mind and what he says is generally on point. He's become a better player since that season playing right midfield for us as well.
