Christ almighty it just keeps getting worse.

This true ? Watford's ex Makem striker who doesn't score too often may go to NUFC ?

2 mill ? Eh ?

Is this just bull ? (I hope)

Glad you've done your research on the player before spouting off on one.

Championship 08/09:

Top Scorers: Ebanks-Blake (25), McCormack (21), Scotland (21), Doyle (18), Smith (17)

Assists: Kightly (19), Hunt (18), Wallace (14), Blake (12), Kebe (11), Smith (9), Sam (9), Commons (9)

I'd definitely have him if there was truth to this!!

How do you know it's the same Smith?  :pow:

He'll go to Reading as soon as they get the money from Hull for Hunt...

They've already got the money? They've got Doyle money too? Hopefully the Russos tell 'em where to stick it.

He's a bit like Steven Taylor, in the sense that he doesn't lack effort,  but is a little rubbish at times and attempts to make up for this with Hollywood-defending. Except Steven Taylor is younger, faster, stronger and better.

We are ages off buying players and that's coming from hughton he's got a wish list but won't be bought till close to deadline as possible

So basically he isn't like Steven Taylor then.

Yes the closer we can leave any signings to the end of the deadline, the more our chances increase of missing out on signing any altogether....the usual Llambiarse/Ashley modus operandi  :pow:

Reading making a last bid for him according to Mirror and various other rags.

We could do with a right winger. Not the quickest but chips in with goals.  If we get Lovenkrands back and Keep Jonas and its pace we want we could switch Jonas to the right and Loven on the left, then stick Tommy up front.

Probably a moot point as we dont seem to actually be in the running for him!

Edit- on his way to Pompey now according to SSN
