LFEE
You’ve got to question the motives for buying, we can all accept the motives for selling, but buying? Gateshead and any business that brings in cash if ‘managed right’ in terms of how to squeeze that cash out is a lucrative cash cow, even little old Gateshead. That’s what MA bought us for, his own personal cash cow which he’s cleverly been doing with the club for over a decade now, the entire structure of the club and how it’s run designed solely to allow him to ‘legally’ take out large sums of money in the tens and tens of millions. Money he’s tricked everyone into believing belongs to him and is his to take and not the club or the business’ which he claims he personally loaned the club from his own pockets under the guise of interest free loans. Lies, lies, lies! I guarantee MA hasnt put a single penny of his own money into the club because he doesn’t have any money or didn’t. He blew it all on buying the club in the first place which went into the pockets of the Halls, Shepherds and other shareholders not the club. He blew the rest of it on buying back SD shares, other businesses, a divorce, partying, drinking, Rolexwatchrd, flashy cars, homes, gigantajeans, friends for hire, PR, boats, holidays, a helicopter and of course, at the casino and it’s at the casino where he learned the art of how to scam, scheme and skim free cold hard cash out of a business. We’ve got it all wrong with Mike who I take back whatever I’ve said about him being a shit businessman, he’s a genius, an evil genius I have to say in that he doesn’t care about nothing but money and how much of it he can make from scratch and to hell with who he tramples on along the way. Its not about making SD more money or any malice towards Newcastle supporters or not understanding anything about football. It’s just business, it’s about making MA money and lots of it, money for nothing. When MA one day sells NUFC, he will have skimmed whatever he paid for the club from the coffers getting his money back, paid to him from bogus loans and of course, all the money from the sale price on top. Guess who wins again... When he said Rafa can have every extra penny the club makes to spend, what he forgot to say was not before and only after my cut. MA has literally made the club pay for him to be the owner... Financed by fans at crazy interest rates. Withdraw your money and he goes, until then he’s going nowhere even if he gets whatever he paid for the club back out of the club, money for nothing remember... With all due respect, most of the above is bollocks. What’s bollocks about it exactly?
geordiedean
If they go bust and Rafa leaves NUFC, it’s a great time to start a phoenix club. "Pull off into paradise" Rave on the new number

Disco
Potential good news for them if Cala and the Dr Death are done for. Wonder if that bloke from Rochdale will come back in now.
Dr.Spaceman
That's the hope. And he wants to shift the club out of the GIS. Potentially huge this.

Fortunately the points are deducted from this season’s tally so drop to 17th (if they get appeal overturned)

Dr.Spaceman
I'm guessing the demotion was put in place as a warning to the twatbags in charge that if they didn't get out they were going to be screwing themselves just as much as the fans.

I think they're appealing their demotion but if it doesn't come off, I think so aye. Will be up to the FA, not a given that they would drop into the NPL. As they aren't being relegated, they may have to start in the bottom level of the NPL so in the same league as Marske but one below S Shields and Morpeth

Hopefully the FA will let them off given the sham of the previous ownership.

Johneddy
Is there a new Gateshead forming? What progress did the fans group make if any? Is there any fundraising going on that we should be getting involved with....sad days that need regional backing imo

Matt
Could have been worse, will they be in a decent position to bounce straight back up? It's a very competitive division. They have no team to start with, so survival at that level will be the main aim.

Dr.Spaceman
No idea what the club's budget will be like, but you've got to think it'll be tough getting straight back into the conference. Can't see them challenging for the football league in the next 10 years without some serious investment. Lots of people talking about Gateshead now will just not give a shit about them by next January, that's just the nature of the people the club has been trying to attract for god knows how long, even more so if this takeover happens at Newcastle. Seems like a lot of the Tyneside mackems are drifting towards following Sheeyelds for some bizzarre reason. Obviously nowt to do with them winning a few games these days. AyeDubbleYoo
The stadium is just a massive problem, awful place to go and watch football. Even if it was a tiny ground with one stand and the rest terrace, it would be theirs and they could at least build a culture.
TheNE40
Will be a very competitive and local Conference North next year: Blyth, Darlo, Gateshead, Spenny, York
