Also London club travelling to Newcastle on a Wednesday night? Football League need their heads checking. We asked to play on a Wednesday. If you don't ask you don't get.... But since there's cameramen recording the game then where's it being broadcasted? Probably just be for goals/higlights on SSN etc and for Hughton and the staff to re watch the game. ohmelads Posted September 28, 2009 Share Posted September 28, 2009 Standard 4-4-2 and bring in Guthrie, Harewood and Simpson if he's fit. Drop Butt, Zurab/Colo and one of Carroll or Ranger. I'd be tempted to give Ranger the nod for this one. I expect us to play more along the ground at home and think Harewood's runs would create a bit more space up front. Also I just fancy him to break his duck this week, he's due a goal. I also think Carroll could have more impact coming off the bench than vice versa, if we're desperate for a goal and launching it long then he's better to bring on. I think we could do with bringing Guthrie in for Butt, I just expect to see an unchanged team if everyone's fit. Ranger and Carroll did well enough that we can continue to ease Harewood in. If Simpson's fit, I'd expect him in at right-back with Zurab centre-back, if he's not, then we could put R.Taylor right-back, Zurab centre-back, and put Guthrie on the right.
