Rangers are finished.

Owner bought the club with money borrowed against three years of future season ticket sales.  When he couldn't make the first repayment he borrowed against a fourth year's season ticket sales to cover it.  They're due HMRC £5m in unpaid VAT and potentially £49m in PAYE.  They are currently £16m in debt.  It's over.

Find it baffling how players like Bellamy can organise and set up a footballing academy in a country with awful infrastructure and little resources, yet the FA have taken nearly 15 years to get one set up in England

Aye, worrying times. Not sure even a fire sale will cover what's needed.

Its a great improvement having the league tables down the right hand side. If i wanted to stick a quick accumulator on, was long having to go back and forth between pages to check league positions. much better now, good with having the results too

everyone will forget what it used to look like in a month

Rangers won't go bust, just wouldn't happen

They will go into admin if the owner has anything to do with it.

yeh but they won't cease to exist. even darlo are still going, no way a club rangers size would go

PM question time

Portsmouth MP asks Cameron to intervene so that HMRC will negotiate with Portsmouth instead of closing them down

Cameron agrees and says he'll do everything to make sure Pompey's rivalry with Southampton will continue and he will talk to HMRC

Utter scum. Paid £1.5m for Erik Huseklepp, £1m for Greg Halford, £750k for Luke Varney and 600k for Jason Pearce last summer but won't pay a £1.5m taxbill because they know someone will always bail them out.

Wilshire has stress fracture in his right foot.  Can't see him at the Euros which is massive blow to Capello.

in addition to that injury? has been started training again?

Caused by training on Friday.  Probably rushed back too soon by Wenger.
