A proven striker at that level, and a decent enough central midfielder who isn't over 30. A defence of Enrique, Colo, Taylor and Simpson would be alright... I think. I think a lot of the whole 'surviving in the Premiership' question comes down to the momentum you get from going up. Yes, you deserved to go down blah blah blah, but perhaps there'll be a feeling of really fighting to make sure that doesn't happen again. That's my (probably idealistic) view on it anyway. Secondly, Marseille will not give away M'bia (Mbai ) for 7 million when we just bought him for 10 this summer.
