lovejoy
Campbell in on Saturday. Williamson has done really well so far (tonight aside by sounds of things), but should be rested if nowt else.
Disco
I really want to see Campbell or Taylor come into the side to partner Colo. The guy offers next to nowt outside his own 18 yard box and is average at best inside of it. Don't know why he was attacking far post so much tonight , he was awful every time he got near the ball from set pieces, and not just in this game. It's a shame, he's done so well at the back. Following instructions and plays they've worked on all week probably. No shit. The point was that it isn't working and it shouldn't be him attacking far post if he can't make it work. As I said, it's not just this game he has been poor at that. Worked v Sunlun. He also does the job of letting Carroll by working with him at set pieces and let him get free which appears to be working alreet. His backing off and letting people run at him should be of far greater concern.
Darth Crooks
pathetic over reaction this like
Disco
FWIW it looked like he took a blow to the ribs for their goal. Was down in a heap after.
Liam Liam Liam O
Colo was as much if not more to blame for their second. What the hell was he doing that far up being turned so easily by Roberts..? Yes, but Ronaldo needs a scapegoat and who better to help him gloss over Coloccini's rick than Mike Williamson, the man he's slated and put down even after good performances? Just like it was Krul's fault Coloccini let Bent wander off him in the mackems game.
Ronaldo
It clearly isn't just me who saw Williamson have a bad game tonight. Colo, Williamson and Krul could all have done better for the second goal tonight, Williamson most of all. As for the Bent goal, a ball that close to the keeper is his responsibility. No idea why it's being brought up now. Some people just can't admit they were wrong.
The Merse
Having just returned from the match I can confirm that Colocinni and Williamson were poor but were still better than Simpson who was really bad. The second goal could be attributed to both but I think Colo was more at fault and williamson took an elbow to the ribs

He's had an excellent start to the season, it was brought up because it's the second home game in a row you've ignored one of his mistakes (until just now anyway). You also ignored it being brought up at the time tbh, if he hadn't let Bent wander off in the penalty area, Krul wouldn't have even needed to make the save or deal with it, Bent wouldn't have got there before him . Anyway, you're not likely to acknowledge the mistake, se we'll leave it there.
The Prophet
Thought he was alright on the whole, didn't cover himself in glory for the goal but neither did Colo.
JH
Please do enlighten me Ronaldo as to how that goal from Roberts was more Williamson's fault than Coloccini's?
Ronaldo
Williamson is in the team to deal with balls like that and is better equipped to do so than Colo because of his height. He's closer to goal and knows he has to win that ball yet goes up without convinction, eye's closed, and helps if perfectly into Roberts' path. Apart from the fact he had an elbow in the chest, the ball shouldn't even have reached him. Colo's 'challenge' (if you can call it that) was just as bad, if not worse. Can't see how you can separate the two of them in that mistake.
ChrisMcQuillan
I thought it was a foul on Williamson, tbh. Roberts went in with his elbow.
Guest Heneage
Thinking with the benefit of hindsight Campbell would have dealt with Roberts better than Colo and Williamson.
Teasy
He made a mistake, everyone makes them sometimes. He's been good generally so he should definitely still keep his place unless Hughton thinks he needs a rest.
AlanSkÃrare
Seemed to be on the end of an elbow from Roberts wasn't he?
JH
Seemed to be on the end of an elbow from Roberts wasn't he? He's not allowed to get fouled. Coloccini never gets fouled.

ChrisMcQuillan
3 games in a week is a good chance for Campbell to be given a chance to show what he can do. There's nothing wrong with rotation for fitness reasons.
The Prophet
The goal was an absolute balls up from both Williamson and Colo, they both had a chance to deal with it and failed.

Cajun
Because you shouldn't drop players who are generally doing well? Why shouldn't we drop Colo for Steven Taylor?
