Canuck
Perch isn't a CB. He's a Championship RB/CDM/utility player. Fair call; however, my point stands that it is unfair to down play Williamson's ability because he is partnering Colo.

Canuck
Nobody was doing that. VaVaVoom stated "I think most CB's would do well alongside Colo". This is clearly a tacit questioning of Williamson's ability. I disagreed. I think it is naive to suggest that any CB next to Colo would be competent. I think Williamson has proven to be a very capable defender.

madras
Him and Colo worked as a pairing from their first game together against Palace. They're a very good fit. They do work well together. I think most CB's would do well alongside Colo. Perch v West Brom??? It is naive to suggest that most CB's would look good next to Colo. I think they have a good partnership because they complement eachother well. yet it was colo who looked the mug V wba.
Ronaldo
Both looked poor on the night, especially Perch. Neither 'looked the mug'.
madras
Both looked poor on the night, especially Perch. Neither 'looked the mug'. both looked as bad as each other, colo looked worse as you'd expect more and looked especially poor on the first and third goals. geordiedean
He's a disgrace of a centre half tbh...shockingly slow, always static and square on to the forwards and is incapable of heading the ball further than 5 yards....the sooner we get a decent defender in the better

Terrible day today but he hasn't been that bad at all last few games.

Guest Big Al
It just showed why the club is actively on the market for a new CB - Willo is a Championship player, who can take his part at the end of a PL match just to win the headers. He is by no means a quality CB - a squad player at best, to cover the holes.
Lotus
If you're not quick you have to have a good body position on the turn and anticipate the ball behind. He doesn't seem to have that habit which is a bit odd tbh!
Beren
Can't blame the guy for not being quick. The defence playing virtually on the halfway line even after conceding three was nothing short of moronic/an invitation.

Nah not at all Coloccini is forever covering for his lack of pace and ability, this inturn leaves holes all over the park where hes dragged out of position....championship player at best

themanupstairs
His worst performance for us since he joined. Fully expect him to take it on the chin and learn from it. As has been said, Pardew should have had them play deeper to contain Johnson.
Yorkie
Decent player whose weaknesses were exploited to full effect on the day. Credit to Fulham for targeting him, because he's one of the weakest links in our side. It would be daft and unfair to lay into him though because he's performed well since coming into the side - this is his first bad game in a good while. He's a limited defender who's had a shocker. Some of the other players, who make the same mistakes on a constant basis, deserve more tongue-lashing than this lad. Plus, he wasn't helped by Pardew maintaining the ridiculous high line. Shayno
He is a Premier League standard CB...barely. But if we are aiming for European football and challenge the top 6 we need to upgrade.
Dave
Before today we'd played four games since his return, winning three of them and keeping clean sheets in each win. He's not fantastic but he's a solid third-choice defender. Bad day at the office today from the whole team.
