Skirge
Ah gone of the days where were would have been after the likes of Arda Turan
Weezertron
Surely we will finally nail down that elusive attacking midfielder and play him behind the striker (if we are to play 4-5-1).
STM
I think we will be looking at players like; Johnson, O'Hara, Noble, Cleverley etc as well as a couple of out-of-the-blue foreign players like Jonas. Which IMO is the correct route to go down.

Johnson not soo much given his problems but the others yes.

Ritchie
You lot are still picking Michael Johnson?
STM
You lot are still picking Michael Johnson? Are you disputing his talent? Assuming you are of course reffering to his alleged drinking problems, why is it impossible for a youngster to turn his career around? There's nothing to suggest he has a bad attitude (i don't think), therefore i'd like to think we are club that is prepare to give a talented youngster a chance. If we can sort out a reasonable deal, he'd be a decent signing for us.

What about the fact he got himself into the mess that he was by putting on a lot of weight, and getting pissed for 8 months? He's also just been out for a year, to take him would be crazy. Pilko
I think the fact he started off looking like a skinnier Russell Howard and in 18 months turned into the third Mitchell brother may have put a lot of people off.
iklgizmo
We need someone like Phillips, someone who has proved they can score in the prem, has experience, and would be happy to sit on the bench for large parts of the games
Guest Stephen927
Johnson has been out for most of this season with a knee injury.

I don't think he needs to worry about competition as long as he's 'injured'. Unless, by 'competition for his place', you meant the queue at the bar being six deep?
