I would probably get rid of Spurs, but just because I dislike them. When I first started to get properly into football Swindon and Oldham had spells in the Prem, wouldn't mind seeing them back! Only one per city in the same discipline, though, which is the reason there's only a Real Madrid and not a Real Atlético de Madrid, etc... it's not done anymore, which means that any association carrying the "Real" name has a bit of story to it, usually meaning it's more than a century old. This is also the reason why we never use "Real" to refer to Real Madrid, unlike I have seen a lot of foreign press doing. It's just "el Madrid" (and Atlético de Madrid are "el Atlético"). I'm also baffled by the great amount of people that I have encountered that think Madrid are really linked to the Spanish royal family just because of the name.
